I woke up with a tight jaw and stress this am.

Icon says it all. God truly knows that I've had some tied-jawed days in the last 2-3 weeks, and *you* ladies have helped me.

Here's another hug from me. What a day you had...and I wonder how you do it sometimes. With all your commitments, it's a wonder you have any sanity left. This is the best place for me to come as well. Gives me a little balance.

Hugs, Deb! It does help a lot coming here and getting hugs and see how the "gals" are doing. I read a lot of the posts ( even if I don't respond ) and it does change how I look at things.

Sorry you had such a terrible day yesterday...very emotional. Hope you are feeling better.

Wish you weren't on the "other side of the world", Deb. I'd love to do lunch with you sometime - it'd be a blast. You had a difficult day - sounds like being the peacemaker was a very difficult task.

Hope today turns around for you!

Not to mention knowing you are loved and accepted here...that's a definite plus.

Been so tight-jawed myself since October that I'm literally grinding my molars down...but it helps to log on here every morning at the crack of dawn and share my cup of coffee and sunrises with my friends here. DH sees it is an addiction...I see it as therapy to keep my sanity!

Hugs.

Just got back from all day at Republican Headquarters and saw your post about what a day you had. I was feeling a little tight-jawed myself after a tense board meeting, among other things, but started feeling better after checking in and seeing how everyone else is doing. It is a real comfort to be able to come here and get some understanding and sympathy. I hope things are starting to calm down somewhat for you, so you can relax and enjoy your day. I've had to start saying NO when asked to take on more things. I've had a couple more things added and said no to two others today. I think people were shocked, but I'm not willing to let it get so overwhelming that I stay stressed out. If I wanted to do that, I'd have kept working and still get paid for it. ;-)

Hope things work out for your friend. Take care.

Hugs,

Rhonda

it sounds incredibly stressful. you do so much for so many. i hope you take some time to just take care of yourself... something relaxing and rejuvenating. if you burn yourself out, you won't be any help to anyone...

i know how wonderful this board has been for me. at times it's been a lifeline. i can't imagine how i'd keep sane without it. i'm glad you're part of it, and glad that it can be as helpful to you as it has been to me.

This brought tears to my eyes, Deb. I think you say things very well! I hope your friends find comfort in their hours of need. Very stressful situations, indeed!

I agree about this board - I'm always comforted, inspired, and encouraged by all of you here.

Yes, you do so much! I marvel at your energy and skills. All of those organizations and people are so fortunate that you put your caring into action for them.

Hugs,

Kat

So very sorry about your day.I'm sorry for your friend but grateful she has you.I'm not one bit surprised that you're doing so much for others but make sure to take some time to take care of yourself too.I'm sending hugs and love to your side of the world.
