SO! How is your day going???? Are you smiling contagiously? Giving hugs, pats on the back and speaking words that uplift and encourage????? Mental health is as important as physical and spiritual (not necessarily in that order).
Michael W Smith is cranking on the CD player. Talk about encouraging and uplifting!
Had a great powerwalk (or power-hobble as I called it) with the gimpy old man I love. Actually, I let him set the pace and he was moving out pretty well. We avoided going up the hills though, as that put a strain on his bad knee. We hit the floor for ab work (I love blowing him away on the ab work). We hit the free weights and weight bench (where he COMPLETELY blows me away!). He is the consumate encourager.
He's taken DD and gone out to run errands. I'm interviewing a cleaning lady today. The crew that came in two weeks ago did an okay job, nothing great, AND they're expensive. Never heard back from them. Even more comical...I bet they show up on Monday to clean. Ain't happening :)
Girlfriend night tonight. Just me and my friend. My birthday celebration. So looking forward to it~
Hugs, dear friends.

I bet you look lovely with your new haircut. You may really like going au natural. I have done the same thing but I had to let my hair grow a little. I didn't realize how curly my hair was. I use a gel to mouse product, fluff with my fingers and off I go.
Enjoy

How nice to have a girl's night out. Very refreshing and you get to celebrate you b'day too.
I had a very exciting and challenging trip to the grocery store. Usually I am very cold in the stores, but I was sweating today getting around with my crutches. That was my workout for today.
Have a great day.

I was a busy little bee today mostly on the computer. I spent several hours working on the March newsletter, then read a number of political e-papers to keep up to date with what's going on, worked with a friend on updating our RWCDF web site, emailed Nabisco to see if they'd be willing to donate some DoubleStuf Oreos to the troops in Iraq (found out

Glad to hear Erin and Rob are still communicating. I'm sure her biopsies will be fine. I was such a sun goddess growing up and in my 20's, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I start having problems. Have already seen the damage it has done to my face. My sister has leather skin from it. Our children know better, thankfully.
Hugs, Rhonda. Thinkin' 'bout 'ya.

Wow, hard to believe Shawn is shaving already! Rob is so fair that he doesn't seem to need anything like that so far, although his legs are getting hairier. ;-)
I have spent so much of my life out in the sun, unprotected in younger years, that it's a miracle I don't look like a saddle. If I didn't have such oily skin I probably would. For the last I don't know how many years I finally wised up and now use at least a 30 sunscreen or even a 45. Under the hot FL sun, I still get a dark tan if I'm out in it a lot. My crusade has been to get Erin and Rob to protect their skin now that we know better. In "the olden days" we just didn't know any better.
Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
