Good Morning.

Another pretty sunrise here. Temps going up to the mid to upper 60's today.

My day...running around this morning picking last minute things up to get ready for the cleaning lady. Have to run the kid to school and will stop by the grocery store and pick up some cleaning supplies I used up last week and dinner for tonight.

Workout will be after that...power walk to the lake and back...biceps, triceps and back. Meeting with the boss this afternoon. He kept sending me these "updates to meet with Susan" for our meeting today, adding all of these things onto the agenda. I e-mailed one back myself: "discuss increasing workload and increasing Susan's paid weekly hours". Should be an interesting meeting. My workload keeps increasing. I can't keep up with the workload I have already and he adds more each week that needs to be done each week, not just a project to do and then it's done.

Going to get a couple 15 minute projects done while cleaning lady is here.

Hugs!

Sassy

Good monday morning!

Heading out to yoga class tonight. That will be my workout AND the thing I do for me today.

15 minute project? I can't think that far ahead today. I only know about the yoga because I scheduled it already...

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning! It is ~~shudder~~the first day of March!!!!Have I mentioned how much I dislike March???But this year it will be a new me.I'm going to enjoy the good things and ignore the bad.

Today as I rolled out of bed I realized how much I need to get back to my weights.I was lifting in CL all weekend and really felt it.Definitely time for me to get back to weights and probably time to get back to work.Doesn't take long for a princess to get soft!!!!

Want to do a run today too.Hopefully a longer one.

For myself I will take some time to get away before just a bit for the week gets too crazy.Maybe just a short drive. No matter what the week holds I wil stay calm and positive.

15 min. project will be the bathrooms. Not sure if that will be cleaning them or just closing the door and ignoring them.

Have a wonderful day!!

Good Monday! I had a nice powerwalk this a.m. - feel much better.

This month is going to be a tough one, work-wise. I will work long hours (lots of folks on vacation at Dillard's), so must keep up the workouts and really work on the eating. Something I did for me was my devotional.

Have a great one!

Good Morning,

Can't quite believe that it's Monday already and the 1st day of March! It is so beautiful here this morning already in the 50's and I will say thoughts of playing hookey have been dancing in my head--but I'll be good and go to work.

Workout was 30 minutes on the treadmill and weights this morning.

I'm going to try to keep the energy going after work, preparing dinner and walking Otto and see if I can get my overflowing inbasket cleaned out and my filing done-but we'll see how the day goes.

Off to get some laundry done before the paying work day begins. Hope your Monday moves in a good and positive direction.

Good morning!

Another gorgeous day after a gorgeous weekend. I got my walk in Sunday morning - I started on the 4-mile hilly route, but gave in before I reached the crest of the hill because my shins were beggin' for mercy. I headed back down the hill and finished the 3-mile route, so I probably walked 3.5 miles or a little more. DH and I took a lovely drive Sunday afternoon and walked around a lot when we reached out destination, just enjoying the sites, the weather, and each other's company. We managed to eat healthy most of the weekend - ate home-cooked meals most of the time, so we knew what we were consuming.

My workout tonight will be the full one - I love to kick the week off with a hard exercise session. We'll eat light tonight - DH is aware of the plan and will have a serious lunch. My lunch is tuna from home (with chopped olives and easy on the mayo), and a salad from the take-away place in my building. Got my healthy snacks lined up and ready to go. I knocked those 2 lbs off that I complained about last week - I'm going back to weighing in every day for a couple of weeks so those 2 don't become 4 or 5. I felt like I was descending back into bad eating habits for a while, so this is how I'll do damage assessment and control.

Patty, I'm sorry the Botox has intensified your migraines instead of diminished them. I don't know how you cope day to day with them - my dad suffered from them, but in clusters, not like you.

Rhonda, congratulations on your growing business. Wishing you continued success.

Phyllis, thanks for the WalMart workout wear tip. I need some new exercise duds to inspire me - the old Sports Illustrated sweatshirt, sweatpants, and T's just aren't doing it anymore!

Michele - Congratulations on your news!

Have a great day, everyone!

Gonna get back in the groove. Did pretty well last week - ended up not working out Thursday because we were packing, then traveling (nice and easy, ran into slushy conditions). Friday I was in the snow, then rode MIL's exercycle for 30 mintues before doing abs work. Saturday, lots of walking at Biltmore - tired legs, feet and lower back. Yesterday was a break. Today, back to Body Sculpt and abs work... and back to proper eating. Argh! That's my bain right now.

Project, unpacking. Not going to focus on myself today (except devotional) because I had plenty of relaxation at MIL's - finished a 1200 piece puzzle that I'd started on my last visit. So I'll unpack suitcases.

I spent all day Sunday cleaning and decluttering. It looks AWESOME in here. And, it was funny, about 18:30, I realized that I had completely *forgotten* to eat! I'd had some tea in the morning - our power was out, so I started cleaning in the kitchen around 9am. Then the power came on around noon and I had an espresso with a splash of milk. And that was it. I spent the next six hours cleaning. Just in this slow and steady keep on moving kinda mode. My poor flylady duster got a *SERIOUS* workout - blessed the world so many times.... destroyed colonies of dustbunnies that had been there so long and were so numerous they had developed, not just sentience, but societies! When I realized I hadn't eaten, I grabbed a powerbar sorta thing, and then kept going - changing the sheets, sweeping, replacing all the towels and bathrugs and such...

Alex came in at 22:00 last night (that's 10pm) from Sweden. I was at the airport to greet him, then we came home and had tortellini in brodo, and champagne, followed by sweaty snugglebunnies.

Slept in this morning and then unpacked his stuff and sort laundry... We had snow all weekend, so this afternoon we had to dig the car out so we could visit his dad. Good thing *one* of us knows how to shovel snow... uffda.

I had a light abs workout this afternoon... And we're heading out to dinner together at a local trattoria. Just a nice easy day.

Tomorrow, I'll get back to real work and a good hard workout.

Wow, you were busy - in more ways than one ;~). Sounds like you and Alex had a lovely reunion.

To practical matters - how are your kids feeling today?
