How's your workout plans working into your day? Did ya do it? Are you still plannin' on doing it? How about your eating and water and don't forget your 15 minute project(s).

Got a great walk/jog in. No abs or weights...I was running short on time and had to shower before the cleaning lady came. Then, of course, she called and said she was running late and wouldn't be here until noon. Too late for me so I had to completely cancel. Darn it! Now I have to run the vacuum and the dust rag. Wait! I have children... :)

Food was going really well until I ran up to Radio Shack. Why would that matter? The Swiss bakery is right next store. I had to go in and get a dino cookie for youngest DS and, of course, my favorite cherry struedel. Only one piece. Got a piece of apple for DH (I'm taking him down with me).

DS will be home in about an hour and then we're off to work for my meetings.

Later!

Sassy

I had a great powerwalk this a.m. and was a mess afterwards! Good thing no one was with me! When I did my powerwalk Sat., I timed a mile of running & I did a mile in a little under 9 min.! Jeepers, I should do better than that as my ds can do a mile in a little under 6 min. in his cross country. DS is 5'7" tall compared to my 5'1 1/2", though!

I ate "no carb" for lunch (salad) and had a respectable breakfast, complete w/soy protein. Water - I need to work on - will drink more tonight. I'm being enabled to "refocus" on other things and not food as "The Purpose Driven Life" suggested. Speaking of cleaning, Sassy, I need to refocus on that! What is it with some people today? Do they not think keeping appointments important?!? I don't blame you for cancelling. I dropped a hair stylist for doing me that way. My ds is a good vacuumer, too! Good for you on having only 1 strudel.

I got a 5 mile run in this morning. Will do some weights later, yes , I really will!!!also want to work on my journal.

Finally saw my first robin!!And you know I'm rethinking this whole robin deal.Last year I saw my first one after spending 2 hours digging my car out of the snow.I was driving uptown and one came flying towards my windshield.Today I saw one when I fell UP the outside basement steps and it put me on just the right level to see one under a tree.Still I was so excited I gave out a whoop and scared the guys delivering my chickens. It's getting harder and harder to get people to come to my farm :)Beautiful weather here today, sunny and upper 60s.Can you imagine the whining when it hits the 40s again.!!!!

I was going to dust and vaccum but time got away from me so I just closed the drapes and lit a candle.

I didn't do any workout at all Monday evening. I caved in to a brutal sinus headache that had been nagging at me the later part of the day; the pain around the middle of my face and head was crushing, so I stuck my head in a steamer, rubbed Vicks on my forehead and across my nose - quite a photo-op - and went to bed at 8:30 workout-less and dinner-less.

Hoping for better Tuesday - so far, so good.

Gorgeous sunny day with a light breeze here. We should be up around 80 for the next few days -- lovin' that! I had the windows open yesterday, and I'm sure I will today. This morning on the way to school while it was still dark, Rob asked if I heard how loud the birds were even with the windows up. He put the window down, and it was very loud. I noticed it yesterday morning too. They seem to be announcing that spring is near. I'm starting to see azaleas and a few other flowering trees blooming.

Today, I'm getting the haircut that I was supposed to get last Friday. Got approval on the newsletter and downloaded it to a disk last night, so will run that to the printer today. Also, got the mailing labels printed and waiting. I'll be baking a carrot cake for the first time in ages for a dear lady's 85th birthday luncheon tomorrow. She LOVES desserts, so we're doing a real ladies lunch with a very light main course and lots of dessert -- like at a teahouse. Tomorrow morning I'll make brownies, so they're still fresh.

Suddenly, there are TONS more leaves in the yard, so later today I will probably be raking.

Enjoy your day!

Rhonda
