2 houses of chicks are here and 2 more coming on Thurs.Today I will work houses with birds and finish getting ready the other 2 houses.
Hope to get a run in at some point.I did get my weights in last night.
Yes, Phyllis, the money you saved is meant to be spent.Otherwise what's the point???I wear skirts more than dresses but lately rarely come out of jeans.I really really need a makeover!!!

Phyllis...SNOW???!! It was 56 fun-loving degrees when I took the poochies out this morning. Going into the 70's today, but windy. Rainy this morning, too. Sticking with the warmer weather for a few days, it looks like.
Had thought I would take a rest day today, but Phyllis planted the seed that I don't need to do cardio...I can just do weights and abs. So that is what I'll do here in a few minutes. Just can't face the treadmill this morning and can't squeeze in a powerwalk. So, I think I'll do a bunch of weights.
Today I'll be working in the office all day. Told the boss yesterday that I needed to be paid for all the hours I work. I average over 30 each week, but only get paid for 30. He's a smart one...I think he could read into my mind that I was thinking I'm ready to ONLY work what I get paid for. Period. Don't want to bump up to 40, though, because then folks will consider me full-time and expect me to be in the office 9-5. That ain't happening. And the boss knows Mr. Smith would never tolerate phone calls, e-mails, etc., "after hours" if that was the case. He's already ranting abou the number of hours I'm working. This should all be interesting. But I've turned it over to Him to work out.
Eating out at my fave restaurant tonight. I'll get my usual, I'm sure...drunken rib-eye. Dee-lish. So, I suppose I should be good with my food during the day.
I'm way behind in my Purpose driven life. Need to catch up on that today.
Patty...tie a pink bow on your wheelbarrow and move on out. Men...just look around us at how difficult most things are...all invented by men ;)
Hugs.

Busy busy busy at work these days. Headed out to Jazzercise tonight after work to de-stress. Works wonders for me.
Went to yoga class last night and had a different instructor than usual. She's a little more 'hands-on' than the usual instructor so that was different. But it was a great a class.
My 15 minute project is to organize my organizer.
I totally think it's fair that you get to buy something with the money you saved. A nice dress is a great idea. I'm not much for wearing dresses myself although I do in the summer when it's really hot here sometimes. Guess I'm not really in touch with my feminine side...
Have a super goo day!

Really hard getting to move from beneath the comfy covers this morning. 30 minutes on the treadmill was the workout du jour. We're seeing a little rain here this morning but the sun is supposed to shine later on.
I very rarely wear dresses. The last one I bought was for my son's graduation last year. Not much occasion to wear them. I do wear skirts in the summer but they're not always comfortable for life in the office particularly when I'm up and down and all around in the file room.
Nothing much else new and exciting...unless you count how many times the laundry chute can be emptied...I really think laundry just multiplies on its own. Although someone was playing with the computer last night and I now have a mountain lion as a screen saver and this strange little bee pops out when you click and the screen color is now gray and green-think DH had a little too much time on his hands last night!
Hope everyone has a totally terrific Tuesday.

Total body weights workout & abs were my workout today!
Have a great one, everyone!
P.S. My resume has been updated, too!
Morning,
Had to skip my workout this morning...the right foot/ankle/heel is weird.
I love the look of fresh-fallen snow in the sun, Phyllis, but that's about all. Personally, I hope we can get through March without a flake. I'm looking forward to having a real springtime before the heat and humidity of summer hit us like they did last year.
Dresses - I wear them Monday through Thursday, and occasionally on weekends when DH and I go out to surprise him. Mostly tank styles - very comfortable, no binding around the middle all day - with jackets or sweaters. Other than that, it's real casual clothing. I just saw an ad in a magazine for a Liz Claiborne suit on which you can spend what you saved, Phyllis, plus a tiny bit more - it's a pretty medium-tone pink suit with 3/4-length sleeves on the jacket and a really cute knee-length skirt with modest slits all around the hem. Looks perfect for Easter Sunday, assuming there's no snow on the ground.
I HAVE to get a workout in tonight - see my Monday update - and it will be a full treadmill/weight/stretch effort. No 15-minute project. An update of my resume is in the offing soon; I might even post it on Bostonworks.com to see if it gets any nibbles. I'm still considering a job change by year end, but I've been doing the pros-and-cons list and came up with a very simple one that really matters to me - the ability to come and go depending on my schedule for the day; I have a very reasonable supervisor (even if the top management is inflexible), so staying put really isn't such a horrible option. If said supervisor ever moves on, however, I'll have to go. The top guy doesn't view me as a manager (in this place, I don't, either), and I can't see who he'd choose who would be as reasonable as my current supervisor.
Have a great day, everyone!

Decided I really needed to destress with a power walk, chat time with Him and sucking in some nature. Once I cancel our trash service, I'll hit the floor for abs and pushups.
TTFN...

I wear dresses to church, but they are outdated. Mainly because I've not liked the styles of the last few years - too retro and short-lived for me. Looks like they're starting to get a little more tailored again. I've got one sleeveless off-white pant suit for summer that I absolutely love, and I've seen some lovely designs for spring too. I'd like to get another pantsuit. I know what kind of winter pantsuits I like, but really haven't looked for any.
