I'm still wondering what the heck a wooly worm is.

Good morning.

Gosh what a chatty group this morning!

The passed 4 days we have had wonderful weather. Dh, the boys and I headed over to Vancouver for a wonderful whirlwind weekend. Had lots of fun. Can't wait to go back. Dh's cousin has a condo right downtown, so it's easy to get to everything and there is soooo much to do!

March 1 started well for me. I'm into day 3 of good eats, and I've been walking and gardening....pulling weeds! I'm about half done. My glutes are so sore they feel bruised to the touch. I must be doing something right!! Scales moving down too!

It's raining today, so I'll have to do inside stuff. I think my kitchen floor could use a good wash and wax. Maybe I'll get really energetic and pull out the fridge and stove too! I'm also toying with starting to paint the inside of my cupboards white. They are old and brown inside and I was laying in bed last night thinking how great and bright they would be if they were white!!

Today's exercise will be some upper body weights and abs.

Anna, hope you are feeling better soon. Michele, I'll keep you in my prayers. Ugh, Phyllis and Sassy. Those sleepless nights are the worst!!! Princess, enjoy your wheelbarrows!! ???? Everyone else, have a wonderful day!!

Looks like there are some cranky people here due to AF or lack of sleep. Count me in. I got sleep, but not enough. I'm fighting a cold - I don't feel any worse than yesterday, but no better. A nap might be in my near-term future! Here... coffee, tea or hot chocolate for those in need. I've got choir tonight, but I might bow out. Right now I just want to veg.

It's a warm HUMID one today. Close to 80-degrees. Walk outside, and it feels like a wet blanket. Difficult for running! Still managed to get a 30 minute run/walk in today. A little over two miles this time I think. I didn't have the energy to run the whole way, but was happy with what I did.

15 minute project: put suitcases back up in the attic, get down Allison's outgrown summer clothes from last year to consign, if I have enough to do so.

OK, if you can put suitcases back in your attic after they were used just a couple of days ago, there's absolutely no excuse anymore for me not to get the Christmas wrapping paper out of the dining room and back in the storage box in my attic.....Thanks for the inspiration. Feel better!

Good for you! Take charge.

I really like your idea of saying "I'm choosing to eat healthy" rather than "I can't have ..."

One suggestion - when you're planning your meals, remember to plan your snacks too! Plan for a midmorning and a midafternoon snack - something enjoyable but small in calories... I think it really helps make a difference. Your body is craving some nutrition, so give it something that *you* have decided, rather than just reaching for whatever's handy and then feeling defeated.

Keep it up girl!

The Rubbermaid storage thingy? That's what I have. I find that it only works to organize me if I use it! I thought things would magically jump back in there when I was was done with them......
