Yup, the discussion title lacks for creativity, but you all get the point.

How's your day going so far? Are you drinking your water? Moving your body? Eating good food? Drinking tea in a cozy chair and reading a good book? Fighting a cold or a headache? Shoveling snow? Pulling weeds? Marching to the tune of 100,000+ chickens?

What's happening in your world?

Booty, I'm sorry you have a sinus headache today! Get lots of rest and I hope it goes away soon!

My day went well but I didn't accomplish nearly what I wanted to.

Phyllis, is Glynco around Brunswick? I know that's in Glynn Co. I used to have in-laws up there. That's only 70 -80 miles from Jacksonville, so less than 1 1/2 hrs. from my neck of the woods. We used to go by Ft. Stewart when I'd visit my best friend back when she was living in Savannah in the 70's. It's a big deal up there. Savannah is gorgeous!!! Some friends and I were talking about how we'd love to take a weekend trip up there to look in antique shops and stuff, plus they have fantastic restaurants and the place where "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" was filmed -- very historic with huge ancient azaleas, lovely parks, and beautiful architecture. Tim and I spent part of our honeymoon there. Their St. Patrick's Day parade is second in size only to the one in NYC, surprisingly. A Red Hat group is going up this month, but I did it 25 years ago and even then there were over 200,000 people and pure chaos. St. Simons, Sea, and Jekyll islands nearby are neat places for day trips and just north is Hilton Head Island. It's really a neat area. Hope it works out for you.

Florida outlawed smoking in all restaurants, and I love it! We get seated so much more quickly, don't have to walk through smokers to get seated, or don't have smoke wafting up my sinuses because of non-existent dividers. Now, if they'd just outlaw cell phones in restaurants and movies and performances, etc.,...

I'm still up, so the light is still on! ;-)

I'm down to 5 cookies, 2 brownies, and probably 2 slices of carrot cake. It doesn't last long around here lately. I had a lot of carrot cake, but took a big hunk to Rob's guitar teacher (another hunk ;-) for him and his family. Tim and I both had a piece too, and he hit the brownies hard tonight. I don't think Rob had any, which is really odd for him. I started out my morning icing the carrot cake, so it was almost as though I hadn't gone to bed after all the baking last night.

The birthday party was SO fun! Helen is the dearest, most vivacious, and remarkable

slept until almost 11am.

walked to the bakery and bought bread.

made lunch.

made a date with Alex to fix my computer tonight.again.

walked over to his studio to pick up some computer books to try to find out how to fix it.

am sitting here on the couch avoiding dishes and work, trying to decide whether to take another nap. Aunt Flo isn't usually this intense... ugh. hope I'm not getting sick.

after Alex's 1pm conference call, we'll go visit his dad then come home and work.

y'know - that nap sounds really good after all....

your work/moving/life situation sounds terribly nervousmaking to me. i'd be a wreck. you're doing such a good job of keeping yourself together.

good luck getting the fitness post you applied for. and best wishes with the GS system. who knows, if you get stationed in Europe, i can come visit you! or vice versa. ;-)
