You woke up to ;) and I woke up to Flo. Doesn't quite seem fair, but I'm happy for YOU!

This morning I'm working from home while waiting for the piano repair guy to come and, hopefully, repair our piano. The bottom has fallen out (sounds like MY body). After I drop the darlings off at school, I'm hitting the treadmill. It's rainy and chilly here this morning, so I'm embracing the change and looking forward to getting on the treadmill (so I keep telling myself). Then I'm hitting the floor to do abs and I'll also do back, triceps and biceps. Already have laundry going. I'll clean up around the house a bit and get some work work done on the computer. I'll spend a couple hours in the office this afternoon and will do more work from home this evening. Our days are and evenings are just too busy.

I'm thankful that my life is so full...filled with my children, my husband, my church, my work.

Hugs.

Sassy

Glad to hear you're feeling so well this morning, Phyllis. Give my regards to Johnny. ;-) I feel pretty good myself in spite of all the junk I ate yesterday and staying up late to see a local band on Jay Leno's show.

This morning is gorgeous. Even Rob is excited each morning about how light it's getting, and he's really into sunrises and sunsets, so we get to talk about that on the way to school.

Much better this morning. Headache is still nagging at me a bit, but it will pass. Today is a rest day because I'm tired and I'm listening to my body which is sore and achy. So tonight I'll focus on laundry and maybe a short yoga tape to work out some kinks...or maybe I'll see if I get a little of whatever Phyllis had this morning.... ;-)

What am I thankful for this week? Spring. Spring. Spring! The grass is turning green bit by bit. There is that unmistakable change in the air that screams "SPRING!" The Robins are fluttering about and making their nests already. That is a huge thankful for me.

I'm also thankful for those little bags of cut and washed spinach. What a treat! I love spinach salad.

Yes, everyone have that goo day!

I didn't sleep as well as I wanted to last night, but still feel more energetic today than I have the last two days. Still a little scratch-throated, no worse than yesterday, and in fact feels better.

I'm having a rest day today on exercising. Might do abs and inner thighs, but no cardio or LB work.

I'm thankful for running weather! Had my haircut yesterday, and I'm thankful for a style that suits me.

Good morning. It's going to be stormy here, with the possibility of tornados. Yikes! I'm going on an adventurous lunch hour - hope the weather doesn't interfere.

I'm thankful for my church family. I had the best spaghetti dinner last night. The cook's sauce was wonderful! Chocolate chip pie was for dessert, so I couldn't resist that. Yummy! The fellowship was nice too.

Didn't spend too much $ last night at American Eagle, so I was pleasantly surprised. DS' dad paid for ds to play baseball (no small fee) and will pay for his bat (again, no small fee), so I felt I should buy the child some clothes. DS is making sounds about joining the fitness center again this summer. I may do that again. He wants to continue his weight training. He is looking pretty buff, I admit.

Total body workout w/weights for me today.

Enjoy your day, everyone.

Good Morning,

Oh so sleepy this morning...passed out on the couch last night went to bed and woke up too late to get any sort of workout in. It's rainy and damp this morning so maybe that's why.

Thankful this morning that DS is doing so well at school and although he has said that this teacher is tough to keep up with he managed the highest grade in the class on his midterm-94! After so many years of struggling and frustration and hatred of school and considering himself "stupid" he has finally found a place where he can enjoy going to school. Also have to say a huge thank you that this program exists.

Also thankful for a safe trip for DD who just returned home from a trip to Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning!

Sharing that gray, gloomy, rainy, chilly weather with many of you today. Ick. Someone mentioned the possibility of the "s" word here early next week. No, not spring. Oh, joy and happiness....

Despite that forecast, I'm thankful that there are many signs of spring around. My walk yesterday afternoon showed me little green-bearded urban front lawns, big fat buds on the magnolia trees that line Commonwealth Avenue, and LOTS of kids playing outdoors in the city "pocket" parks around here. I'm sure there are a few brave crocuses blooming around my house - I'll have to check over the weekend.

I'm also thankful for my family's good health - when you've got that, you've got a whole lot. My ILs and my mom are showing typical signs of physical frailty that comes with aging, but nothing critical, debilitating or life-altering so far.

Workout tonight is cardio/abs/and either UB or LB weights.

Dinner with my ILs last night was very pleasant - we ended up with Middle Eastern food after all, and they both took home doggy bags big enough to feed them through the weekend. The place was packed - rare for a Wednesday night and for as late as we arrived, and the traffic was steady almost up to 9 pm. I'm thrilled for the owner - a very gracious, hardworking man who fled the violence in Lebanon during the 70s and loves the opportunities available in this country to anyone willing to work for success.

Have a good day, everyone!

Yummy on the Middle Eastern food! I miss those opportunities - we used to go regularly to a restaurant in CA that had the best Mid East food! What did you eat?

Someone told me that Dallas had some good Thai food - I'll have to check that out someday.
