Good morning! How nice to have a meal ready for you when you come home!My sisters have been bringing meals to us the past few days, really been nice. But today I'm trying to get back to a more normal routine.Back to work in CL.Have to go see a surgeon later today to check the fractures. He's the only one in town. Did I mention that he has some land near ours and wanted a right of way thru our cornfield to put a road in?He already had a road so we said no.Hope he isn't still ticked off about that!!!I'm going to try to get on my treadmill for a short walk at some point.

Phyllis, sorry to hear about the tooth!!Michele, I'm sorry for your family's loss.Deb,best of luck today.Rhonda, please let us know how Rob is.

Hope everyone has a Marvelous Monday!!!!

What in the heck is BOSU?

In major pain this morning. Started yesterday. I'm thinking I pulled my shoulder during Saturday's workout and then slep on it funny so it is all stiff and achy and really affecting my entire left side from my neck radiating down my shoulder and back and back of my arm a bit. I can really feel the place that it's pulled when I press down on the spot in my shoulder. Funny how it's messing up everything else, including my back now. I feel like the hunchback.

No workout for me this morning, although I'm going to stretch and soak in the tub later.

Shawn's doctor's appointment is this morning. Cleaning lady is supposed to come today, although I asked her to call me with a time and never heard from her. Of course I have to work, too. Maybe I'll just take it easy today and not go into the office. Do some work from here, etc.

Good luck on your interview, Deb!

Patty-cakes, I hope you're finally easing out of that finger pain. How long will you be flipping everyone off with your big bandage ;)

Phyllis...take the good while you can get it! Glad DH is seeing you in a new light (the correct light, I might add!).

Hugs.

Sassy

Good morning all--

Weekend was good, weather was windy but fabulous and warmer than usual. Spring is coming!!!!!! Had our first class on the new floor at the Jazzercise center. Aerobic padding is my friend! What a great class and it was PACKED. Must have been 50 people there. It's amazing what a difference a few centimeters of dense foam can make. Heading out to yoga class tonight. Need a good balancing workout after yesterday's full-out hot & heavy workout. Also had my sunday morning body sculpting class. It was great too.

Did absolutely nothing else all weekend. Walked with dogs in the beautiful sunshine and got a new battery for my motorcycle so I'll be zooming around in no time. Can't wait for that! Did a little shopping...found a nice pair of capri pants made from a 'micro yarn' that feel like silk or something. Really comfy.

Phyllis: Glad your DH is being such a sweetie. Sounds like you have a keeper.

Patty: Hope your finger is on the mend and it isn't keeping you up at night.

Deb: Good luck with your interview. You're going to be great!

Have a super day everyone!

Good Morning,

It's snowing here this morning. It's sticking to the grass and mostly just wet on the roads. One day you have the windows open the next it's snowing. That Mother Nature certainly is fickle.

Today may prove to be interesting. Our refrigerator door won't close so I'm waiting on the repairman somewhere between 8 and 12 and meanwhile I'm waiting for my DD who got partway to work and was having trouble catching her breath. I'm not sure whether it's going to be a trip to the ER or have her get to her dr. I think she's being affected by work they're doing in her school. She's been finding all kinds of dust and gunk in her classroom and lot of the teachers have been suffering from respitory problems and she's been having this dry hack of a cough for a while which I kept telling her to call her dr and have it checked out. I guess this will force her into doing something about it. You would think they wouldn't undertake work like this with the building being occupied-but then again it is the City of New York. Meanwhile my coworker at work called and she's sick although she said that she's coming in after taking her daughter to the doctor. So not thinking the boss people are going to be to happy this morning.

I did get my time in on the treadmill and my weights before the uproar began. Hopefully everything and everyone will be OK.

Michele-very sorry to hear about your aunt. Prayers for your family.

Deb-good luck with your interview today

Patty-glad to hear the family is still taking good care of you and good luck with the Dr.

Sassy-hope you feel better and that a good soak in the tub will make you feel better.

Rhonda-hope Rob is Ok-the poor kid is really getting beat up this week

Phyllis-dinner all prepared-how nice! Good luck at the dentist!

Hope your Monday is Marvelous!

I ended up not working out yesterday, either. Had to return a pair of sandals I'd just bought DD (size 11... no bigger than the 10s she's outgrown!), and did a little more shopping. I found an outfit I liked, but the skirt didn't fit. Go figure: Saturday I was trying on size 8s and 6s, and the 6s were too snug around the hips. The skirt I tried on yesterday was a size 6 and was hanging on me like a 12. You just can't trust sizes these days. Part of my problem in fitting is my somewhat generous backside. Not big, but curvy - things that fit in the waist hang funny on my hips, and things that fit on the hips gap at the waist. This has always been a problem for me, but it got magnified after giving birth, and now I recognize exactly what my fitting problem is. I ended up buying the shirt, and I think I'll be making a skirt to go with it.

So, I'll try Body Sculpt again today. Need to drop off at the upcoming consignment sale, do the laundry and pick up a few groceries.
