This morning, taking Allison on a "field trip" to a kids' discovery museum. It's education mixed with play - kids get to explore, touch, manipulate, etc. We've been to a similar one before in a nearby town, but toward the end of last year, our own opened up by the state museum. So that's this morning.

I WILL get a workout of some kind in today. Also want to declutter two spots in the kitchen and get some things up into the attic.

Good morning,

Figure I should fill you all in about yesterday. It was a short interview. I believe he was looking for someone with experience. He is a one man office and his secretary of 21 years just retired. I think for my first job I might be more comfortable in with a few other people just so I can ask questions and learn a little more. From there I did some more resume dropping and then home to change. Met Grace for lunch........her treat! Thanks Grace! Then a rush home because the boys were back in town from their road trip and none of them had taken their house keys. Rest of the day was spent looking at the trailer and sons new car and listening to them talk. Bill and I did go to dinner and have an hour to ourselves but the food was far from healthy. Twin seafood enchillada's and lets not forget the sangria. Oh well............

The family is gone, hubby and son to work, Katie and Rob to school. I am just finishing my yogurt and then I need to run to the high school to sign some papers for Rob and then a dash to the bank. From there pick up mom and over to Curves we go. I want to talk with the lady who motivates us and get her opinion. She is a personal trainer and I need to figure out what I am doing wrong, since I have seen no results what so ever. Home then to make a few phone calls and I think I am going to go through the yellow pages and mail out some resumes. Well that is my day, at least that is what is planned. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning, everyone....where are you, everyone?!

Still snowing here or, as one of the local weather dudes says, "snishing" - just flakes fluttering down and sticking to the grass, nothing accumulating or causing dangerous conditions on the pavement. Surprisingly mild temperatures - when the snish stops, it'll melt quickly. Just in time for the rain.

Workout today is cardio and UB/abs. Going to try breaking up the big workouts this way - it'll give me more time to stretch more carefully and thoroughly.

We have a real estate agent coming over to do a market analysis of our house Wednesday evening (could be Thursday). I've got an idea what it could sell for, but I want to hear a brutally honest assessment from a pro and also to talk to her about improvements we have on a floor plan with the details to be worked out over time. I do think fixing and staying here is our best bet and I think I've conveyed that clearly to the agent so she won't feel like we're just picking her brain. Several of our neighbors have done major renovations (including one complete knockdown/rebuild, but not a McMansion), so I don't believe our plans are out of line for the neighborhood. Plus, we like the neighborhood and the general convenience of it. It's pretty exciting to contemplate - but unnerving when we think in terms of dollars and the upheaval it'll cause living on the premises through a renovation. We'll see how it goes.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Donna

Work, work and more work today for me. Headed to Jazzercise tonight as usual. Went to yoga last night and had a great session. Nothing too exciting happening here, just thought I'd check in and say hi.
