My oldest is currently working on her Master's Degree in Literacy. She came down for breakfast this morning to show me her midterm paper that she had struggled with and really didn't think it was one of her better papers. When she received the paper back it had writing all over it and she figured she had ripped it apart. It turns out the Professor loved it and has asked her if she can quote her in an article that the Professor is writing to be published. She also asked her if she was considering getting her doctorate in literacy and feels that she would be an excellent candidate and that as of next year they will have a program at St.Johns. Needless to say she's very excited, we're very excited and best of all her students are getting a great start in literacy with all of her creative ideas!

Hugs.

Let us know when the article comes out and how we can access it.

Fantastic! Amazing what the prof saw in it, since she struggled so much this go 'round. Going for the doctorate sounds like an excellent opportunity!

I tried to answer yesterday, but my computer wouldn't let me, so a belated congratulations to your daughter and to the proud mama. You have every reason to be proud!
