Morning Phyllis,

My calendar says its Thursday but hey I could be wrong. I thankyou for your suggestions. I am not giving up the ship just yet. I agree I need to mix it up some. It actually felt great to go on the treadmill after my Curves workout. However my treadmill is outside on the covered patio and its still freezing out there. I also have trouble staying on it for long periods of time. Just so much to do and so little time. But I plan on using it more once our weather warms up. I also take a vitamin, the One A Day, the womans one that says Weight Smart. Thanks for not giving up on me. I need all the help you and the others can give.

You better not give up the ship yet! Most of us feel like giving in now and then. And then we realize (either on our own or with someone's help) that it's not just about the scale. It's not just about the size of clothes we're wearing. It's about feeling good about ME. It's about being healthy. It's about being the best we can be. That may be a size 16. That may be a size 6. If I look at my workouts only as a way to make the scale go down and the clothes sizes to go down...I am doomed. If I look at my workouts as my time to myself (and that is PREMIUM time, let me tell you), time to pray, chat with my Creator, plan out my day, my week, my month, etc., then I CHERISH that time.

My sister had a great suggestion yesterday (and why it has taken it so long to sink in since I've been hearing it from you ladies for years) that I keep a food journal. She and I both really struggle with reflux/heartburn/GERD and mine is really flaring up right now. Keeping a food journal will help me with that, but will also shock me into realizing the crap I'm putting into my body (although I still reserve the right to refer to KK's as "medicinal").

Keep it up, girl.

Hugs.

Sassy

Good Morning,

And you all have me totally confused and that's so easy to do these days. The other girl at work thought yesterday was Tuesday, I think I'm looking at Wassup Wednesday on Thursday and the bookeeper who usually comes in on Friday is coming into the office today so I'll be thinking it's Friday! It is Thursday, right?

I'm sorry you lost your Aunt, Michele. I am just now catching up with this board and I'm way behind on things. I hope she didn't suffer too long with her illness. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,

Kat
