Good Morning Gorgeous Goddesses.
It is a b-e-a-utiful sunny Saturday in Northern Virginia. But darn cold. 38 degrees. Brrrrr. I'll wait a bit before I hit the pavement for a power walk to the lake and back. Couldn't do abs yesterday, still, because of this shoulder strain. It's feeling a bit better, but still very much "there".
What else is everyone doing today? I'm sipping the first of my allotted two cups of joe for the day. Haven't had Starbucks since last Sunday. Not having any today.
Lots of little projects to do around the house. Will have the boys working in the garden (biggest "boy", too). I'll be doing some things in the house, it appears.
Hugs!
Sassy<-talking good talk to herself this morning.

Just checking up on the posts and on all of your days. Sassy, I'm sorry your shoulder is still hurting you. Just rest it up and don't worry about working out - sounds like your UB workouts have gotten you pretty buff so you can let the healing happen without too much dropoff in your muscle tone. How's Russell's knee coming along? Can he keep up with you on your PWs to the lake?
I need to get a good night's sleep - I was awake for no apparent reason at 5:34 am today and have been going ever since. Took the laundry off DH's hands this morning and got three loads done before 7:30, caught up on all the bills, cleaned the bathroom and made breakfast, and showered and headed to my sister's on the 9 am train for the painting marathon. We got everything she wanted to accomplish today done - priming, taping, cutting in, getting 2 coats of paint on the walls (2 pretty soft pink walls and 2 pretty soft lavender walls). She and BIL are going to tackle the woodwork and baseboard heating units Sunday - those and the outside beadboard wall of the closet are all going to be done in a soft grass green. Then they'll turn my niece loose to put up her flower decals on the walls. We looked through some catalogs that came in the mail to me this week, and found a couple of other things that my niece would like to have in her room, including some colorful, sheer-fabric butterflies and a cornice unit that will hold a pair of sheer curtains above the head of her bed that she can drape like mosquito netting - kind of a "little brother barrier" so he'll leave her alone.
I need to go do some stretching so all the bending, stretching and squatting of today won't hurt too much tomorrow or Monday. My hands need a serious stretching - I have a lot of typing and document layouts with photos and graphics to do next week and I'm dreading my hand locking into a permanent mouse-grip by week's end.
Get a good night's sleep, everyone!
