Today, I will, without fail, get my cardio in...power walk to the lake, chest, back and biceps. I had planned on getting that done early this morning, but apparently needed sleep more since I slept straight thru an hour of the alarm playing radio. I remember DH's alarm going off and my thinking that I was wide awake and I should just get up. I laid there for a bit and the next thing I knew my alarm was turning off. So, instead of panicking and throwing in the workout towel, I'm rearranging my day to accomodate my sleepiness and still get my workout in.
Have one kid going to two doctor's appointments today and one home sick. The other is raring to go!
Chat later.

Morning, Phyllis...
The workout is done!
I slept late, and I want to give my leg a rest anyway. Will try for some abdominal work today. One nice thing is that I get 2 nights off this week. That will help me rest up for amy iron woman weekend of work, LOL! The eating is on track, and I actually have had to force myself to eat. I don't know if it's spring fever or what, but I have no desire for food. Wish it would last!
Have a great day, everyone.
I've already been movin' this Monday morning. Treadmill and weight were the workout dujour. It will be a lovely 58 degrees today with abundunt sunshine and then for tomorrow they're talking about the "S" word. Hope they're wrong on that one!
I have some cleaning up to do around here before the paying work day begins. I didn't get much cleaning up done around here this weekend but that's the way it goes sometimes. I did have fun playing with my smoothie machine yesterday-made a great one last night with unsweetened apple juice, honey, fresh pineapple and banana-oh so good!
Hope Monday gets you movin' and feeling good.
Susan
It's a beautiful - even spring-like - day here. Going to enjoy it - the "S" word Susan mentioned is coming this way, too, on Tuesday and into Wednesday.
Sunday, we didn't get the taxes done, and we didn't get to "The Passion" either. Mostly I napped off and on during the afternoon and DH was tying up newspapers, raking the remains of last fall's leaves, and doing p**p patrol in the backyard. Now and then the neighbor's golden retriever uses our yard for more than a romp and inevitably we have a few "leave-behinds" that need to be picked up. Annoying, but necessary - at least the neighbor whose dog it is picks up all the front yards. I did manage to get a little workout in, though, and I avoided bad eating because I was asleep most of the time.
Tonight I'm doing LB and cardio work - my neck and right shoulder are smarting a bit, but not terribly, so it should clear up by Wednesday.
Busy week anticipated - possible overtime three nights.
Have a great Monday, everyone!

Heading out to the dr before long to get some stitches taken out. Will be glad to have that over with it.
Then I plan on heading outside for a run. Also want to do some more yoga today.I've been slacking off on my water and need to do better there.
Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I made a good yummy lunch - not so low-fat or low carb but yummy (polenta, with sausage and beans). I have no idea what's for dinner though.
I did my morning yoga (I've started doing a short simple routine before getting out of bed... it's amazing how much it helps my mood)
I'm planning a workout - but don't know what yet. And I need to up my water intake - I think I've been low on that lately...

The babies are coming! The babies are coming! Lauren called this morning to tell me that her DH is driving her and the girls down to stay here (at my sister's house) for a week!!!! They should arrive late tonight or tomorrow, depending on how the little ones travel. I can hardly wait. Claudea is 37 days old and Andie is 21 months. Her DH will turn around and drive back, so he can be there for some tests he's having done, etc. What stamina! My younger niece from down here will fly back with them to help with the girls on the plane and to spend her spring break up there. Her school break is different from Rob's, which started last Friday and runs through this week.
I'm taking Rob and a girl friend to the beach today. He's not even taking his surf board, because she doesn't have a wet suit! I'll be walking and looking for shark's teeth. It hit 80 yesterday, so I imagine we'll be somewhere around there today.
Have a wonderful day guys!

I'm getting back on track today too Phyllis. My eating was quite good last week and I got a couple of days of organized workouts in, but it's not helped me lose much in the pounds dept. and my jeans are still snug. So, it's back on strict SBD for me today.
Also on the plus side, it's spring break here. This means no running back and forth to get ds from kindergarten, so I have no excuses! I can use the time it would have taken to do that to get a workout in!!!
Still battling some cold/cough bug. I had laryngitis (sp?) yesterday morning when I got up. Thank goodness it's gone now. I'm getting really fed up with everyone bringing their bugs home. It seems we just get over one and either Adam or Jen comes down with something again!! I'm sure we'll just get all healthy and spring break will be over, Adam will go back to school and catch something else!! I can't wait for the warmer weather when we can get out more!
Have a gweat day everyone and hustle that bustle!
