Monday Afternoon Check-ins...

Did you get your planned workout in? Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating healthy? We want details!

I actually got my cardio in before heading to DS's first appointment at 9:00.

Flo is a real witch this month. She sent out her recon team about 10 days ago and she isn't even due to arrive until the last day of the month! I've had hot flashes, heart palps, lower back pain that is just about to send me over the wall. I spent the entire last week crying about everything. This week I'm just darn fed up with it all. I'm heading to the dungeon to toss in a load of laundry and hit the weight machine. Still babying my shoulder. It MUST be a pinched nerve it's hanging around so long and stinging up into my neck, too. Will hold off on abs and shoulder work until tomorrow, but pinched nerve or no...I'm doing shoulders and abs tomorrow.

I ranted and raved at my Maker this morning during my power walk to the lake and back. I want answers and solutions and my health to improve! I want my life to run more smoothly. I want specifics! Some things I feel better about, some things he's letting me stew over ;)

Just about to leave for Jazzercise and this has been one long afternoon food craving wise.

I got that workout done - 30 min on the treadmill, leg presses, raised heel plies, and squats. I tried some lunges where I got into the lunge position, stayed stationary, and just bent my knee forward; I managed two sets of those on each leg without my knee feeling like it was going to buckle, so I've got a new move I can add to the leg repertoire. I also did 100 weighted crunches. Need to stretch a bit now.

I did lots of abdominal work and elevated my legs. Eating was good except for a little chocolate. I'll try to forego the choccolate tomorrow. I need to go grocery shopping and clothes shopping (for ds) tomorrow. Need some healthy foods around here! I'm contemplating a haircut Friday - hope I can do that! I need a haircut badly.
