Hope you have a fun trip, Phyllis!

I've spent yesterday and today with Lauren, Andie, and Claudea. Sure wish they lived down here. With the way the weather has been here (mid to upper 80's and sunny) compared to the way it is in MD (snow), I think she's feeling the same way. Also, she likes having so much family here to help out with the girls. I should be getting some kind of benefits from all the bouncing, rocking, holding, carrying, lifting, crawling, stretching, squatting, etc., I've been doing.

Andie is crazy about Robbie. She says his name so well (over and over), wants him to hold her all the time, and kisses his picture. Last night I made a laminated two-sided picture of him for her, so she can carry it and not destroy them. It has a picture of him in his wetsuit with his surfboard and with short hair on one side and one of him sitting on the sofa with his hair long on the other. She was examining both sides over and over this morning. We took the girls to the skate park to see him and his friends skateboard today. She loved it. I taught her to say "Oh, goodness!" today, and she says it SO cute! I said, "See you later, alligator," and out of the blue later she said, "Bye, bye gator." I would have said Florida gator, but her mother is an avid (or should I say rabid ;-) Seminole! Andie loves shoes and otters like her great aunt. I gave her my two stuffed otters yesterday. The bigger one is holding a starfish, so I named her Star and call her the mommy. The little one is a Beanie Baby and is named Seaweed. I told her that was the baby. She liked that. She has a different one that they got from a place where

Thank you all for your prayers. Grandpa is slowly doing better but I just don't know how much longer he will hold on with his age and all.

Dd, ds, and I are going to the visitation this afternoon. It will be a tough one but I will be strong for them all. I appreciate all your prayers at this time. This boys family really needs them.

Donna, you asked about dd and her living situation. She moved into the basement of her boyfriends sisters house. She has been doing absolutely WONDERFUL ever since! Such a relief! Shes still in the same area she was before, just a small town outside of the city. She really likes it and feels like shes finally got a place she can call "home". Shes still having to pay rent on the other place because she couldn't find anyone to take over the lease, but its worth it....getting her out of there was the best thing we ever did! I only wish I had done it sooner! Anyway, shes much better....thank you so much for asking.
