Woo-Hoo! It's Friday! Time to party (which is a relative term when you're 43 like me ;)

What's on your workout schedule for the day? Do you have your menus all laid out for today, tomorrow & Sunday? What really cool and/or fun thing do you have planned? Anything you want to share? Speak out about?

My one goal for today is to be an "encourager". To stop before I speak and then speak words that raise up and encourage.

My exercise today was a power walk to the lake and back until I saw the trees swaying and the clouds flying by...must be pretty dang windy out there. Looks like Timmy the Treadmill and I are going to interact today instead. I have a bunch of weight-related exercises to catch up on today, too, since I only stretched out yesterday. And of course, my favorite...abs, abs, abs.

Food. Ugh. Sort of have a plan. Need to make it firm and stick with it!

I need to reconnect with my spousal unit this weekend. He and I are living separate lives these days between his detail to another job (which isn't official yet, but he's being yanked over already), my job, and the Spring sports season having begun...each child is playing a sport.

Have an awesome day and I WILL be checking in (or cracking the whip) later.

Good Morning,

TGIF! It's been a long week and I'm very glad it's Friday. It's another snowy day here on LI. Just plain yucky!

There is no workout agenda for me today. Apparently I haven't done squats and lunges in a while and the body is sore this morning. I really needed some extra sleep this morning, yesterday's workday was physically and mentally draing and I really appreciated the extra hour this morning.

If the weather lets up and there is still food on the grocery store shelves after 5PM I'll be grocery shopping after work. I'm hoping that the little too snug around the middle pants I'm wearing today keep the food out of my mouth at work and the junk out of the grocery cart-although I've been doing much better in that department.

Hope your Friday is indeed a fun lovin' day!

Good morning, all and TGIF!

Winding down today - one more fast deadline and I can breathe for the rest of the day. So much junk on my desk - I have to make sure the files are right before I put them away. And I'm praying really hard that the FedEx labels ended up on the right packages....

Workout tonight is LB and cardio. Dinner is fish or chicken on the Foreman. I think I'm tired of veggies and dying for pizza (yup, a whole one with extra cheese) or a big steaming bowl of my favorite pasta - potato gnocchi - with a pile of meat sauce on it. Momentary insanity, I know, so I'm going to have to make some very different and healthy snacks for the weekend or I'm going over the edge. Salad does NOT constitute a snack.

My nephew turned 5 yesterday. He was very pleased with himself when I called him last evening to wish him a happy day. He thanked me profusely for the card from his uncle and me and told me he loved me "a hundred million billion". And my niece is just so proud of him for no apparent reason! Of course, that's also temporary and they'll be back to scheming about killing each other in no time. Birthday party for the family is this weekend; bowling party for his little friends is next week.

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Trust me...that scheming to kill each other doesn't end until they're in their 20's! At least that's when it happened to my sister and me. Looks like mine are on the same path :)

This, too, shall pass.

Have a great day...glad the busy week is over for you. As for the food...my philosophy is "everything in moderation". Of course MY definition of moderation is a lot larger than most folks!

Hugs.

God morning!Just got back from getting my stitches out.The finger is healing nicely but hurting more as the swelling goes down.It has become my own little weather station , letting me know when cold and rain is heading my way.Wonder if I could go into the weather business and make any money???

Not sure about my workout today. If anything I think it will be a power walk on the treadmill.Windy and chilly here today with fleeting glimpses of sunshine.

Food plan will be working to keep it under control.Yesterday I had to work thru a major chocolate/chip/anything but healthy craving.Just getting thru that was a workout.

Not sure what's up for today.Hoping to get together with a friend. If not that then bonding with my birds.Tomorrow I have a walk with my sister planeed. looking forward to that.

Good morning! Great day here again. Rob is still asleep, but we're planning to hook up with Lauren and the girls to head down to St. Augustine to a park/playground with a merry-go-round, to let Andie see the ocean, and possibly to

When it comes to me and a bowl of potato gnocchi, I forget how to spell "moderation". This is a years-old problem, not just since SBD. It's the one food thing that I have that much trouble with. I'm actually better at moderating sweets. I guess that's strange in and of itself.

I love watching my niece and nephew interact. One minute all huggy and kissy and holding hands, the next hands holding necks and twisting arms and legs!! I'm hoping that finally being in their own rooms that they've helped decorate will ease some of that - no more always-in-each-others-faces. My sister tried separating them before, but one always ended up curled up on the rug in the other's room - or both curled up on the floor in mom and dad's room.

So they'll stop in their 20s? Maturity is a wonderful thing.....

Good Friday morning everyone! Today is a cardio day - 3 mi. powerwalk. Will try to eat light and healthy.

Shopping on agenda & maybe an oil change. JC Penney has some good prices and I saw something at Sam's I wanted in the way of a warm up set in baby blue or pale pink.

Oh, BTW, Booty, I loved your answer about the maueve!! LOL! Just wanted you to know I didn't decorate my bathroom - I inherited it in this rent townhome! I also loved that answer about Rush Limbaugh - I never did like listening to him on the radio! I don't know who I hated listening to more - him or Dr. Laura!

Have a great one, everyone!
