Good Morning!

The wind is REALLY blowing here. No workout on the schedule. Busy Sunday. Sunday School, Church, all of us going in separate directions the rest of the afternoon and evening.

What's on your plate for the day? Church? Post the sermon subject here later. Workouts? Post your results here later.

Tomorrow is Monday...even though Sunday is technically the beginning of the week, I always look at Monday as the start of a new week. Back to the exercising tomorrow morning. Have a lot to do this week.

Have a great Sunday. Hope it's relaxing.

Hugs.

Sassy

Good Morning,

The sun keeps toying with me this morning. It turned really windy last night and poured as DH and I headed to Home Depot last night but the rain did wash a lot of the snow away. So this morning the sun keeps peeking out and then clouds over. DH spotted buds on my lilac bush in the backyard so we both feel spring is springing!

DH has headed out for a fishing show. A coworker of his wants DH to take up surf casting and he seems to be very excited about the possibility so he's off to see if he could get a good deal on a rod, reel, waders etc. So I've been left to my own devises. Already been to church and hitting my second cup of coffee for the AM. The house is super quiet since all the youngen's got in late or very early in the AM depending on how you look at it. I'll sit here in the basement for awhile and pay some bills and do some filing and then head upstairs to clean up the kitchen and get some fresh linens on the bed. I have a manicure appointment this morning and then I'm going to head out and see if I can find a dress for a friend's wedding which is the Saturday after Easter and so far I just haven't been able to find anything. No workout in my plans for the day and hope to be back to the house to enjoy some reading time. Seems like the only time I can really get any reading done is on Sunday afternoon and I've gotten so I really enjoy and look forward to that time. I hope Otto is in the mood for a nice long walk later in the afternoon and that the weather cooperates.

Hope your Sunday is a wonderful one.

Spent the day playing with the babies yesterday. I held Claudea most of the day while she either slept, ate, or wanted to be walked around. They're at the airport now. I've been missing them all morning, especially the feeling of holding Claudea. Luckily, they will be back in early June, so that made saying goodbye a little easier. We had a cookout and the kids swam in the pool and jumped on the trampoline.

It's a beautiful beach day here, and we're getting ready to leave. Surf is supposed to be good. Water temp. is up to 65 degrees, which is about 15 degrees too cold for me to swim. I noticed St. Aug. Beach is already charging to drive on the beach. I think they used to wait until at least April, but now it's 3/1. Season sticker price went up to $35., but it's still a lot better than paying every time you go if you go often.

My flower bed is looking very Eastery. Bees were out having a field day. Tangelo blossoms are starting to open with their heavenly smell!! Also, my first Passionflower is open this morning! What a pleasant surprise that was.

Enjoy your day everyone!

Rhonda

Have my rollers in my hair, leaving for church at 815 with a stop for a latte first.

Good morning!I'm not sure what I'm up to today. The guys just took off and will be gone most of the day probably. That means a quiet house to myself.I have a dozen things I could do and 2 dozen I should do but I have an incredible gift for being able to ignore them all.So I'm thinking at least part of the day will be a lazy one involving a book and my love seat.

I tried on a skirt today that I'm working my way back into.Apparently I'm having a very mellow day. There is extra in my waist and backside area which shows up in the skirt. But I just laughed and refered to it all as my curves.Technically I don't think curves go in that direction but what the heck.

Have to go uptown at some point for groceries.DS has had a hearty appetite lately.Between him and DH it's hard to keep things around here. And on days when my estrogen surges it's downright impossible.Grocery shopping is almost a therapy session anymore.I buy what they will eat and I won't(hopefully).By Friday it's all a moot point.Nothing left but the carrot sticks I was suppose to snack on.

It's cloudy , cold and windy here.Rhonda I loved reading your post about your weather and your yard. And yesterday when you said the kids were in the pool I almost headed your way!!!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Your description of holding the babies and your yard made me smile. I miss holding the little ones. I dreamt last night that I was pregnant (yes, at age 43, too) and had a boy, which Sarah had to deliver because Russell couldn't get home in time and I couldn't get to the hospital. The baby looked NOTHING like our three...it was funny. But I knew he was mine. I guess I'm still coming to terms with never having another. It doesn't help that there are a handful of woman at church that are expecting. The closets to my age, however, is 38. So, there will be tons of babies for me to hold. I guess I'll start doing nursery duty at church periodically!

Have seen some crocus and other early Spring bloomers. I wish I had the time to work in my yard.

Snow showers!! Wonder if that's happening in Southern MD too. What a shock that will be after a week of mid-80's here and especially for my younger niece (13) who lives here and went back to spend her spring break helping out up there.

The older Claudea gets the more she looks like Andie, but her coloring is very different. She still has blue eyes, but her hair has lightened from black to dark brown so far, she has a lot of hair, and her coloring is darker like she'll tan easily. Andie is very fair, dark blonde fine hair, and very blue eyes. I hope
