My Bill left me a card this morning sitting on my front seat. It was a congratulations on your new job, but he wrote the sweetest note inside that said how proud he is of me for going back to work and for completing school. I was crying before I pulled out of my driveway........I know I am a sap. I have off tomorrow, which is great. I plan on going to Curves with my mom, I still have about 30 days before my membership expires. Still so chilly here to walk outside. I have a Girl Scout First Aid Class tomorrow night, and I have 2 girls coming home with Katie from school because of their moms and work. Hey.......got to pitch in and help each other, right? Well other then that I am just waiting for Bill to bring back some TCBY and then under the electric blanket I am going. Aunt Flo decided to show up yesterday and visit.
I will add one last thought, its about my kids. They came through for me today. I was very worried about them being home together for a few minutes. But they were great then and tonight with dinner. My Katie was so helpful this morning and she was when she got home. She did her homework without any arguing, she made the meatballs for dinner. She cleaned up the dinner dishes with me and washed down the table. Man when they decide to do it, they do it right. Well I think one last batch of clothes in the dryer to fold, then Bill should be home with my treat. Have a great night ladies and I will check in on you all tomorrow and I will catch up on the missed posts.
Love you guys.........
Debbie

Sounds like you survived the first day quite well! That was very sweet and thoughtful of Bill to think of you in such a special way on your first day! Love the fact that your kids pitched in and helped you out! By the way, I read your post about taking notes...great idea. I know I did that and the new girls in our office do that too. Good luck on the pen idea...pens disappear in our office so fast you can't keep track of them. I'm lucky since I do the office supply ordering I order a little bit of everything to keep everyone happy!
Enjoy your day off!
WTG, kids - kudos for helping your mom out. And WTG, Bill - a very sweet gesture to make your bride's day.
