How the heck does Phyllis come up with post tittles each morning????I had nothing so I went with the basics.

How is everyone today or is it too soon to tell?Has anyone found the warmth most of us are looking for???

I love coming to the board and reading what's going on with everyone.Deb's new job is so exciting.Love that Nancy's DD will be close and has a great job to look forward to.I think Rhonda has melted all our hearts with those beautiful babies.Every time I thought of them yesterday I smiled. And I love to read about how everyones day goes and just in general what's up with everyone. This board is such a bright spot in my life.I get to be with fascinating women and never have to leave the farm!!!

So what's on your plan for today? The chickens acted up again last night so I never made it to my weights.Maybe today.I want to get a run in though doubt it will be a long one.Hoping to get to a few things that I didn't get to yesterday.Looks like overall the excitement level for the day will be low:) But something just tells me it will be a good day!!!

Hope you each have a great day!!

Miss P

Enjoy your day off however you want to, Sassy - sounds like you need it, and you've certainly earned it.

Phyllis, it seems like so long ago that you mentioned adopting that little boy. I hope things work out for him they way they should - and I can't help but believe in my heart that the best thing for him is a stable, warm, and loving home with you and Johnny. Best wishes....

Funny you should mention about pens. I like good pens too. Being left-handed and I guess holding them weird when I write, some pens just do not work well for me and some ink gets smudged by my hand as I write. I went to OfficeMax the other day and got some decent ones to keep around the house.

I'd watch him a while to see how he does with pens before I got him one. He may leave them all over, people may take them from his desk at times, or he may have his own that he uses when he wants a good one. In that case, the clickers are probably fine for him. If not, he'd probably appreciate a thoughtful gesture.

What a neat visual of you out walking or running with your dog trotting alongside out in the country. Makes me think of simpler more innocent times. Hope you get some warm weather soon, so you can work outside comfortably.

Hi everyone,

Gosh, I just don't seem to make it to the computer much anymore. Thank goodness spring break is over here. I can get some piece and quiet in the morning and ds isn't on my computer! :)

I must confess that I think we are "stealing" the heat here. It was 66 degrees here yesterday. An absolutely perfect spring day. My kids were outside playing most of the day and had a good solid, sound sleep last night. They were "callin" for rain today, but so far we are still blessed with this beautiful sunshine and it is the thermometer is already sitting at 56 degrees at 9:00 am.

Had an awesome food day yesterday. No junk passed my lips. Just lots of fruit, veggies and grains, along with some braised ginger chicken for dinner. Got lots of walking in yesterday too! Well over my 10,000 steps I was aiming for.

I went shopping to look for a spring jacket for dh and ended up hitting a great season end sale. I bought 4 shirts and a skirt for myself. It was only $57.00 CDN including taxes of 14%. Then I went to another store and found a nice light jacket for $39 and a really nice winter jacket for $49 for dh. To top it all off, I went to get a few groceries. Bought some cilantro that was 2/$3, and when the lady rang it up, it charged me $3 for one bunch. I questioned it, she checked and I ended up getting it for free! So, I went and bought a lottery ticket for Friday's $10 million draw. Had to hedge my bets! LOL

So that's been my excitement. I'm getting oodles of things done around the house. Started some seeds for my garden. Upholstered the two ottoman frames that dh's cousin made for me. They turned out pretty darn nice if I do say so. Today's chores,... laundry (the never ending battle), bake some bread and go back to the first store I was at yesterday to check the kids department for next year's school clothes! But, before any of that, I'm going to get in half hour of weights!

Phyllis, hope you get some positive news about your little guy.

Debbie, glad to hear you are enjoying your new job.

Patty, don't you let those chickens get the best of you. Remember "Animal Farm"?

Nancy, glad to hear things turned out so well for your dd. How wonderful that she will be so close.

Rhonda, have fun in your garden. I'm gradually working my way through the weeds in mine and getting ready to plant some things.

Donna and Kat, as always, you ladies are an inspiration to me!

Sassy, I hope your day gets better as it progresses. I'm sure I've probably missed someone and if so, I apologize.

Have a gweat day!
