My good thing today will be the simple joy of dance.

Hello,

I'm just heading out the door to take ds to kindergarten, then home to a workout.

My sister e-mailed me last night to say that she had joined Curves. As did my two neices and my great neice. My sister is/was quite overweight, but has lost 16 pounds so far and feeling much better about herself. She's now hoping to shed another 40 or so. I'm really happy for her because this was a woman who does *not* exercise, or like exercise. I'm hoping she'll stick with it.

Of course being of such a competitive nature, I'm now determined to reach my goal too! There's now way I'm going to let her be all thin and fit while I'm still be packing my paunch. LOL So, please, help to keep me accountable!!

Gotta run. Have a Wicked Workout Wednesday ladies! I'll post my results later.

A soggy good morning here! Oh well, everything is looking pretty and green out here, with beautiful wisteria, dogwoods, azaleas, crepe myrtles, etc. dotting the landscapes.

I will keep the baby and family in my prayers, Phyllis. I hope the mother will be good to that baby. I'll never understand people who put their own selfish wants and habits before the health & welfare of their children. The only explanation could be: mentally deranged.

Dillard's kept us very late last night getting ready for their corporate visit. BIG WHOOP! I held my tongue about the nasty carpet, though and our children's dept. was the only one in excellent shape by 9 p.m. Our reward was that we had to help everyone else get to that point! I slept until 7 because of it. I hope I can get up tomorrow on time to get my workout in!!!

After yesterday's coma-inducing posts on sweets, I packed my peanut butter, jelly & sprouted wheat bread for lunch. I will try to be good, though, for dinner. Have to pick up ds early today - so lunch hour (& dinner hour) will be comprised of Kat Taxi Service. So workout AND housecleaning have to be moved to tomorrow. Okay, it's time for an attitude adjustment . . .
