Did ya do it? Did you hustle those hips? Pump those pecs? Giggle those glutes? What morsels did you allow to pass your lips today? Are you drowning in water or parched and dry? Did you smile and pass it on?

So far so good for me!!! I just had to check in with my results. So far today, I did 30 minutes on the Stairmaster and 30 minutes of upper body weights and abs. I was shaking when I was finished, but it felt so darn good!

Breakfast for me was 1/2c. All Bran w/ 1/2c. 1% milk and a couple of strawberries. I just polished off 1/2c. of grapes after my workout along with a litre of water and I'm working on my second. Lunch will be leftover lemon pepper halibut with some stirfried veggies. For dinner I'm attempting a new concoction. It's going to be similar to lasagne, but with a layer of eggplant instead of noodles and some italian bell pepper sausage I got from the butcher's. Along with a big green salad. I'll probably slice up some oranges for dessert.

Have a beautiful day ladies!

I love when you post your menus...yummy!

Had a great powerwalk to the lake and back with DH. It Felt So Good! That's what I've been missing! The outdoors, the hills, the sunshine. Man, I hate that winter lasted so long around here. In the 60's today (of course it was only 38 when we walked this morning...but it felt awesome). I felt 100x better after our walk. Stupid DreadMill just does not do it for me! Headed to starbucks for my decaf soy latte (small) no sugar added. Had a bowl of oatmeal with a pinch of brown sugar and cinnamon and about 5 walnut halves. Lots of water today. Blew it with lunch...steak & cheese with rings. I savored every bite and it was absolutely wonderful. Dinner tonight will be yogurt and fruit and more water.

Tomorrow I'll be pounding the pavement again and back to the abs and weights. Can't wait!

Loved your post, Shar. Glad you are back and rarin' to go :)

Sassy

I know what you mean about the rain Deb, but those last couple of warm, sunny days were a mighty fine tease for the days ahead. Can't wait!

Great workout!

Great job Shar! Loved your post!

Today was been pretty good with the exception of the small bag of chips that I opened at work for no particular reason especially since I really don't like chips all that much and I'm not supposed to be eating them. Had a few and then released the bag from my hands! My lips are definitely not parched-lots of water today! And I'm actually not freezing today! Would have loved to have been outside today-but duty calls within the office.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs (one whole egg, one white) with a small amount of cheese and an english muffin

Midmorning was 1/3 cup of almonds, walnuts and raisins

Lunch-turkey and swiss with mixed greens on a WW pita w/deli mustard and cherry tomatoes and a banana

Midafternoon-Vanilla Lite & Fit yogart w/fresh strawberries

Dinner-Surprise! We're heading to the fundraiser/fashion show and have no idea what the menu selections will be.

Hope your Wednesday was indeed wonderful!

Love this post from you,Shar!!It made me smile and pumped me up!!!THANKS!!!!

Today has gone well.I got a great run in on my treadmill.Pushed the speed up a bit and then finished with a walk and the incline way up.Then I tossed a chicken in the oven(no not one of mine!!!)and went straight to my weights. It's the first time I've picked up weights since I hurt my finger.Felt good.My finger is so weird and ugly!!!The feeling hasn't come back in it quite right yet and it's still swollen so it has strange sensations sometimes.Even though the stitiches are out I still have two places on either side where it hasn't healed completely yet and sometimes the skin there turns white. What the heck is that??

I ended up leaving my hair the same.I decided that right now it's easy to manage and I'm happy with it so I would wait awhile before changing it.After she trimmed it and styled it I was happy I hadn't cut it.Then 3 of us went out to lunch and we had so much fun.We even managed to be very good about food.

I'm so glad you're posting more, now, Shar! I miss you when you're scarce!

I didn't get a workout today as I worked too late last night, but I ate pretty well. Breakfast was my fruit juice & fruit smoothie w/soy protein and my Optimum Soy cereal w/skim milk. Lunch was peanut butter & jelly on sprouted wheat "Ezekial" bread, and a plum. I did have a couple of little cookies (oops!), but only ate some yummy soy bbq riblets and grilled asparagus for dinner. Lots of water was consumed, too. Tomorrow, I will eat more veggies, I've decided. Your lasagna sounds so delicious!

Wednesday was my night off, but I got a workout trying on clothes and shoes. Those slinky knits are neat. They do glide right over your curves. The problems arise when you have a bump in the road - as opposed to a curve - then they cling like Saran Wrap and you look lumpy. Got to work harder on those saddlebags! I did get some new workout duds, though. It's about time; thunder thighs + friction = holey pants! And lots of new underthingies.

Trying on shoes was a pain - I found several pair that I loved, but a couple of them had straps and security tags inconveniently placed on the straps. At least I know what size shoe I'm NOT, so I can go back over the weekend and try on more leisurely. Rhonda - do you have DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) near you? Your eyes would glaze over - shoes as far as the eye can see, and all at least $15 to $20 below retail. Navy pumps in all shapes, leather types, and heel heights!
