I'm thankful for my time with God and my workout time!!! I got it done this a.m. already!

That is cool that the "Eating for Life" has the menu plans & shopping lists. That makes everything so much easier! I love to export or "copy & paste" into MS Excel worksheets like that so I can type my data into them.
Of course, the big project today will be to clean house on my lunch hour! Think I will start on that this a.m. too! Have to work again tonight & tomorrow night, but am SO looking forward to this weekend!
Have a great day!
Phyllis, I'm so sorry to hear about the situation with Rajohn. My heart just aches for that little boy and all the family members. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers that the right thing happen for this little guy.
I went to bed late and didn't set my alarm for this morning. So there was no rise and shine workout today. Just seems to have to happen in the morning or there is none except for walking the dog.
I'm scheduled for a carotid artery doppler. I guess that will be an interesting way to spend my lunch hour. I haven't heard anything back on my blood work either. I'm thinking they're waiting for the results of this test to see if there is a story to tell.
Very thankful this morning for the wonderful health insurance that DH's union provides. When I think of the many medications and testing I have had to have done during the course of the past few months and the cost of such, it makes me very thankful because the cost is frightening.
Well hi ho, hi ho off to get ready for work I go!
Have a great day everyone!
Susan
I had decided yesterday I absolutely had to stay home and clean the house today. That was Plan A.Then I came up with Plan B, go over and take DH out to lunch today. I think I'm going with Plan B and moving Plan A to tomorrow.
Thankful for the warmer weather that we are enjoying. It really lifts the spirits.
15min project; maybe I'll surprise myself and clean a bathroom.Or maybe I'll do a LB workout.
Workout for today may be a step workout or a run this afternoon. Suppose to be sunny later and it would be nice to go outside for my run.
We had such a sad thing happen in town this week.A family took their 15 yr old daughter to the Dr because it seemed she had the flu and couldn't shake it.It turned out she had a rare liver condition in which her body couldn't handle the copper in her body. She was waiting for a liver transplant. They had the liver and were ready to do the operation but she became too weak and died. This all happened within a 2 week period.Whatever you do today , take some time to cherish life and enjoy it.And if you are waiting for the right time to come to go after something you want, to make a positive change or to do something for someone else decide that the right time is now.
Love you guys. Hope today holds something special for each of you.

15-minute project. Probably fix a few items of clothing. Laundry. Sit down with my cantata book and CD and learn some hard parts for our choir's Easter presentation on Palm Sunday.
Workout. Would like to get in UB/LB work, abs.

Phyllis, Rajohn is in my thoughts. I don't mean to sound snotty or nasty, but it sounds like his mom wants to keep him just for the handouts - so typical of the way things go up here, too. That poor little boy is carrying too big a load for a - what, 3 year-old?
Spring (and drizzle) is in the air. I definitely felt a hint of a tropical breeze out there this morning. I even left my boots and mittens home. Now for some sunshine....
I'm working out this evening for sure. Cardio and LB - going to look through my books for moves that work the "saddlebag" area. So hard to work. So hard to get rid of! I'm thinking a cleaver - messy, but quick and effective....
What am I thankful for? DH's and my health. Not to be taken for granted. I heard from my dr yesterday about that last little potentially troublesome issue that needed further checking at the lab. Turned out negative. Yeah!
Have a goo day, everyone! Still waiting to hear from Lori. Anyone know what's up?
Donna
Boy, Phyllis, wouldn't you just like to take that woman and shake her until you get some sense into her and she realizes what she has and how she's blowing it? I feel for Rajohn and know he'd have a much happier, more stable life with you and Johnny. Hope this gets resolved happily soon. I will continue to pray about it.
I've had a productive morning. Took Rob for a 7:50 orthodontist appt. and got him back to school, got a replacement blade for my rear windshield wiper, went to the nursery to look for some dwarf azaleas but they're out of the ones I want (did get a Lantana plant to replace one that died), bought groceries for the week, got them put away, and have a load of laundry in the dryer.
I'm thankful for the gorgeous weather, for coming out of hibernation, for getting to plant so many things in the yard this week and see them start blooming, for neighbor's appreciation of my yardwork, and mostly for getting to spend time with Lauren, Andie, and Claudea.
Have a wonderful spring day everyone!

Did you catch Dr Phil yesterday? It was all about kids beating each other up on school buses, etc.
Hi Everyone!
It's a really nice mild day here.
You Were Born An Original... Don't Die A Copy
Good afternoon to you, Phyllis...I don't get here too early. I don't know where the days go either. Time is flying by which is saying something for me after being in a cast on and off for so long the past few months. I am like you..if I don't do it in the morning...workouts as well as housework, it doesn't get done. Once I go out, it is all over except for getting dinner ready.
1- I am thankful that I am back teaching even if it is only one class so far. I was offered to teach a Pilates class and I am going to do it. I will start in May since I have to go away a couple of weeks in April.
2-No real project planned...still catching up with the cleaning from my week away in Fl.
3-I did 25 minutes on the recumbent bike before teaching the 1 hour body sculpting class with weights and 15 minutes abs. It felt so good to be doing real workouts again even if they are limited. I am also logging in my workouts on the President's Challenge and it is nice to see the points add up.
Have a good day.
