Helloooo,

Cardi and abs for me today.

15 minute project....washing all the produce I just bought and putting it away.

Things I'm thankful for.....my health. And, as much as I wish Calgon could just "take me away" sometimes, I'm truly thankful for the wonderful family I have.

Have company coming for dinner tomorrow, so I'm going to be busy prepping a bunch of stuff for it. Also have a basket of ironing calling my name.

Phyllis, you must be very frustrated watching this situation. My heart goes out to Rajohn and to you and Johnny too! What an emotional seesaw!

I was coming back from dropping ds at kindergarten, driving down the road and a woman that I don't even know gave me a huge big smile and way! Made my day! So I'm passing it along! Have a good one ladies!

These were vicious attacks kids on kids--and the school wouldn't release the videos (was on the bus..driver seeing it, etc.).

What ticked me off is that the bus driver just kept driving while the fight was going on.

I certainly agree that there are alot of crazed, evil people out there. I do feel sorry for the educators, too. However, I hate to hear about these kids getting beat up on campus or on the bus and nothing done about it. I would definitely bring a lawyer down to the school (along with some kind of child advocacy organization) if that happened to my child. I'm glad my ds doesn't ride the bus, although the poor kid was accused of it not long ago!

Speaking of deranged parents, I wonder if this case ever made the national news: A woman stoned her 2 little boys to death and seriously wounded her other baby boy. I think it happened in Tyler, TX area (near Longview). The family was very religious from what I heard on the local news. She's on trial now for the murders. I hope she is locked away for the rest of her life even if they rule it as insanity.

We had a couple of instances of kids beating other kids on buses here about a month ago. They were caught on video tape, and the drivers did nothing. The school says the drivers aren't supposed to intervene, but I think that's ridiculous. In the first situation, something like 5 or 7 kids ganged up on one other kid. I think they were about 12 years old. I forget the details of the 2nd one, but both incidents made the news. There's no way I'd be a teacher or a bus driver now, but it's a good thing there are people who do choose to do it (even though some of them are not the best).

That one that the seven kids ganged up on a little boy was on the show. They said it was Jacksonville, FL
