I keep reading that you need to mix up your routine so today I did just that.I did no workout at all and I fed my body carrot cake.Feel the burn!!!

It was beautiful here today, made it to 76!!!I went over and took DH to lunch.I stopped by to see a friend I used to work with on the way and it was fun talking with her.I made a stop in Costco, love that store.Got a great buy on capris and a Champion top.The top is snug and the pants are loose and that NEVER hapens on my body!

So how was everyone else's day?Anyone else have warm weather and carrot cake?????

Miss P

No, but I had a peanut butter cup. Gulp.....literally, one gulp!

Off to the dungeon to do penance. Cardio and LB. Dumb saddlebags.....

No workout, no warm weather or sun just damp and rain and no carrot cake! Just your run of the mill 9 to 5er with some laundry thrown in, a doctor's appointment to fill up my lunch hour and a dining room table full of everybody's mail-but just not feeling the inspiration to deal with it. But I did eat well today!

This sounds pretty much like the plan I followed at my parents house.

a.m. coffee and pound cake

lunch 1/2 sandwich and guacamole chips

snack-more pound cake

dinner-good except for the peach cobbler.

I don't know what kind of results you're getting but a few days of eating like that...didn't do me any favors ;-)

Beautiful day here.

Frozen grapes are pretty tasty on a hot day, too!

Finished my workout. Worked those saddlebags pretty well on the treadmill and with my leg weights.

Dinner's on - grilled marinated lamb, steamed broccoli, and mashies for DH, and a couple of sourdough type rolls.

The feed bag was great today!

Breakfast was Raisin Bran and an apple. Lunch was a bowl of yellow pea soup and one slice of w/w bread with some low-fat cheddar melted on top. Also a glass of V-8 juice. Love that stuff. I could drink the whole bottle! Dinner was home made greek pizza with a w/w crust and caesar salad on the side. I'm fixing to chop up some nice sweet oranges for dessert.

Didn't get a cardio workout in today, but I wasn't sitting on my behind either. Figured I could prep for my dinner party tomorrow. Instead I ripped the boy's bedroom apart and sorted all of their toys out. Translation, multiple trips up and down stairs to get rid of toys and junk! Looking forward to relaxing this evening.

This is the second day in a row that I've gotten an afternoon headache and it was a dilly. I'm seriously thinking it is the fluctuating barometric pressure we've been having. Today we've been having a wicked wind storm too. There were branches down when I went to get ds from kindergarten. The only bright spot was that the wind felt warm as opposed to the bitter north wind we sometimes get.

Have a wonderful evening everyone. Donna, your dinner sounds ahlicious. Love lamb!

I had the warm weather, went to Costco too (but didn't get anything fun), and I bought the stuff to make a carrot cake for my neighbor who has offered to sharpen the blades on my mower and edger for me. I thought I'd wait until Friday, so they could share it with family when they come over.

My eating today was pretty bad. I rushed out this morning to get Rob to his orthodontist appt. without eating breakfast, so I wound up treating myself to a Cuban sandwich at Publix for brunch. For dinner I had grilled steak, grilled asparagus, and *mashed potatoes.* It was SO good, but I know I should have passed on the potatoes. My big thing was I had a bunch of tapioca this evening. It's been ages since I had it, and it is a weakness.

This afternoon I went to visit Helen. She looked like a fashion plate even in her immobilizer and in a wheel chair with her snazzy print silk pajamas and earrings. LOL! She had another friend visiting, but

No carrot cake here, either, but there were four donuts.
