Apprentice?" I am SO glad that Katrina is gone. She was always very negative and always focused on what was wrong instead of right. As soon as I saw the sour look on her face, I felt their team was doomed. For someone who doesn't want to be thought of as just a pretty (?) face, etc., she really relies on sexuality a lot to try to win. Amy's negotiating was much more professional and what got the guy to agree to the car deal. Also, it's obvious she's been jealous of Amy for a long time. She's way too hormonal and immature

I totally agree with you about Katrina. She was getting on my last nerve with her whining a few weeks back, if you remember; I was hoping she'd be gone the week after the Big O got axed. I especially tired of Katrina's complaining about the guys exploiting her sexuality when she did the same thing all through the competition whenever her alleged brainpower brought her to a dead end. Her refusal to tout her strengths and abilities during the boardroom scene surprised me; it's almost like she believed right then that she had nothing but her physical gifts to go on.

Troy and Kwame going off to the show together was just two buddies blowing off steam, but it's going to come back and most likely bite Troy later on, if Bill has anything to say about it. The three of them acting all buddy-buddy was a bit much, when you know Bill really dislikes Troy's act. I thought Bill did a great job at the VIP check-in area, much more subtle than Troy.

Amy and Nick. Nick and Amy. I think Nick is sunk, and I think it's going to be next week, and I think Amy is going to be the one sinking him. Did you hear the soundbite during the preview? Amy is telling someone he should have just shut up and listened. It could have been a well-edited soundbite, but it sure looked like it was directed at Nick and he was none too thrilled about it. And if you heard Trump's comments in the preview, he echoes the same sentence in the boardroom next week. I think Nick's quiet strength, smarts, and dignity are excellent traits; I think his sense of ethics is the highest of anyone in the show, and I think that Amy is manipulative enough to turn his strong ethical sense into a weakness.

I still cannot get a read on Kwame. I'm betting the contest is coming down to Amy, Bill, and him, but only because he's such a blank. Amy is very bright; she handled herself beautifully in the boardroom, presenting herself as a strong leader but willing to share credit (or in this case blame - very smart how she let Katrina dig herself into a hole). She is still the obvious favorite, but there's a cockiness to her that's going to get her in trouble, and I think Bill's going to scorch her. Something tells me he's more ruthless than even she is.

Kwame's kind of like the phantom. He's there, but you're almost not aware of it. His "management style" is to get good people and just turn them loose, which is good to a certain extent, but I think it's taken almost

Adding my 2 cents don't you think that Nick could turn on Amy after she dissed him in the boardroom by saying Bill was the toughest competition she was facing?

Using the idea emoticon for "light bulb".....

I totally forgot that! Nick looked (wikkid) surprised by that comment. Now he's got two reasons to turn on Amy - professionally, anyway.

Thanks for the reminder. Need to rethink. Maybe a potentially new alliance - Bill and Nick - with the old alliance of Troy and Kwame, with Amy out in the cold?

I could see the look of surprise on Nick's face. I think it was smart strategy on her part to keep the stronger player. The better she does on the teams the less likely she'll have to make another trip to the board room. I think it shows Trump that she's confident in her ability and can deal with competition. Also, Katrina's negativity was a real liability. I'm still not sure which one is using the other more with Nick and Amy.

What's really going to be wikkid is when it gets down to Troy and Kwame or Nick and Amy. I don't think Bill will have qualms about duking it out with any of them, especially Troy. He's his own person.

Maybe Nick stuck close to Amy becuase she was the "golden girl" but now that it's getting near the end and they both want to win so

It was Nick who refunded the money. I don't think Bill agreed with the idea of offering any refund, much less handing over the whole investment. His feeling was that the advertiser had had several hours of exposure before the signs on the pedicabs got ruined. I think he left it to Nick to determine the ultimate amount to be refunded.

That's one of the reasons why I think Nick is swimming with true sharks now in Amy and Bill and needs to be careful. I'd love to think his sense of ethics will win, but I doubt it.

I am really enjoying watching the Apprentice! I am glad Katrina was fired and not Amy. Unfortunately, I read last weeks People magazine and it gives you some info on the "players". I was wondering what was happening with the little romance. They kind of gave some of it away.

Also in that article, Oramosa is still in character although she is trying to change her image and say the editing made her look like a witch. Somehow, I don't think the apple fell far from the tree here. Also...the n word was never used according to the crew that was around for that spat between Erika and Oramosa. They are still laughing about her concussion with that little piece of plaster. She is saying she was on heavy pain medication for it too! Oh, brother!

Very curious to see how far Amy goes.

Right, Bill was p.o.'d about the money being refunded. I really do like Nick and hope that either he or Amy wins. I'm surprised Carolyn hasn't said that Kwame really hasn't shown her anything since he's been there. I didn't see Katrina on the news this morning, but after watching her little spiel at the end of last night's show warning the 4 guys about Amy, it confirmed that she doesn't want her to win. For someone who said she didn't want to be the star, it was clear she resented that she wasn't.
