1. Who is your favorite current comic (actor or stand-up)?

***Jack Black, although I love Darrell Hammond's impersonations on SNL. His Bill Clinton is so much better than the real one. ;-)

2. Who is your favorite comic from years ago?

***From the late 60's/early 70's, David Steinburg. He was so dry and just cracked me up. Wonder what ever happened to him. When I was little I liked Red Skelton.

3. Do you have any favorite old style movies?

***Love Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Shirley Temple, and other musicals like White Christmas. Good dancing always fascinated me, and I love the clothes from the 40's.

4. What's something you could do today that would make you feel good? (Are you going to do it? If not, why)?

***Believe it or not, get the edging done. I put it off from Wed., so I wouldn't have to take a bath and wash my hair quickly before Rob's guitar lesson, and it really bugs me to see it undone. Why, yes, yes I am going to get it done.

5. What's something you need to do today to make someone else feel good? (Are you going to do it? If not, why)?

***I've been pretty good about that lately with having copies of pictures made for people and giving them to them, sending cards for different occasions, visiting Helen, making long distance calls to family, and things like that. Today I will have more copies of pictures made for some other people to give to them the next time I see them, I'll call Mom and Dad instead of email them, and I'll send Tim a "thinking of you" type of email at work.

1) Wendy Liebman and Rita Rudner

2) Alan King and Pat Cooper

3) A real 3-hanky soaper, "Back Street", with Susan Hayward, John Gavin, and Vera Miles. I also like "Midnight Lace" with Rex Harrison and Doris Day. I like all the Doris Day-Rock Hudson movies, too, come to think of it.

4) Take some Advil. I aim low.

5) Take some Advil. I'll be a lot nicer when this pounding in my head ceases.

1. Who is your favorite current comic (actor or stand-up)? I like Jay Leno, George Carlin, Bill Cosby. Been around for years, but I still like them. George is wacky but understated, Jay and Bill find comedy in everyday happenings, Jay growing up in my own lifetime especially hits home.

2. Who is your favorite comic from years ago? Red Skelton. Loved his Freddie the Freeloader! I also like the amazing comic piano playing of Victor Borge (sp?).

3. Do you have any favorite old style movies? Hmm... war dramas. Seems to be what The Cus watches, and I enjoy them.

4. What's something you could do today that would make you feel good? (Are you going to do it? If not, why)? Exercise, for a change. I don't know if I'll get around to it. Playdate with a friend, grocery shopping - depends on when that finishes up.

5. What's something you need to do today to make someone else feel good? (Are you going to do it? If not, why)? Do something with my daughter - playdate, maybe play preschool with her. Yes on the playdate, maybe on the playing preschool. Again, we're not on a schedule, so it depends on when we finish things up.

Had forgotten about John Candy. We have "Summer Rental," which I think is a classic.
