We're getting some sprinkles with the sun out (The Devil is beating his wife, my grandmother would say, but I don't know why.), so my recently fertilized lawn should be happy. Don't think we're going to get enough to do a whole lot, but even a little helps. Saw a pretty rainbow when I took Rob to school. Now, I will have to wait for things to dry out before I can use the electric edger on the flower and shrubbery beds though.

Brit-Nee brought her sordid concert to town last night. Her reviews in other cities haven't been great, but I haven't read the one for here yet. I think the headline was something like "Hot, But Not on Fire."

I'm excited about Saturday night, because there's a free Doobie Bros. concert outdoors at the World Golf Village. Haven't seen them since Michael McDonald was first with them. It's a neat place to have a concert. You just bring lawn chairs or blankets and sit wherever you get a space. I'm sure this is in conjunction with the TPC (Tournament Players Championship) taking place this week out at Ponte Vedra Beach. That's the area where we've been going to the beach during the winter/early spring. The Concors D'Elegance just finished in Amelia Island just north of here, so a lot has been going on. There will be a ton of spring art shows starting soon.

I'd like to see the new Tom Hanks movie, "The Lady Killers," tonight, but it will depend on if Tim is up for it or not.

I WILL eat better today. Don't know what, but it has to be better.

Have a great day all!

Rhonda

Groovy!!!!I can't believe it's friday already!Today I absolutely have to do some housework.I have been saying all week I would and really need to.I hate housework. Love how things look after it's done but hate the doing.

I hesitate to even post this cause who knows how it will go.But I want to sit down today and make up some meal plans.I read an interesting article yesterday about sugar and it's effect on our health.I'm going to challenge myself to a period of very clean eating.

Good grief;housework and healthy eating!!!!!What am I thinking????

Morning! No exercise planned for today but work is. I have been up since 5:45 and I haave done a batch of wash, made 2 out of 4 beds, made the lunches, and sorted the rest of the laundry. Just waiting now for my turn in the shower. I am hoping for a super nice day tomorrow, or so the weatherman has said, so I am going to plan a morning walk. I did get one day in this week at Curves. Eatting was pretty darn good too. Who knows anymore?

This weekend is supposed to be a racing one but the boys still have so much more to do on the cars and the new trailer. So instead this is how things will play out here. I promised Katie that with my first paycheck I would take her girlie-girl shopping. So its hit the stores around 10. I am meeting my sisters to look for our dresses for her wedding around 1. My FIL will come and keep Katie company for a few hours. The boys will be at the shop. Katie has a birthday sleep-over Saturday night so I will bring her there around 5. I think I will get together with my sister for dinner since the boys will probley work into the wee hours of the night. Sunday Katie has another party........such a social light! I hope to have my MIL color my hair then. So thats it.....not to bad. LOL!

Lori ditto what Phyllis posted! I hope you are feeling better today and again know you are in my head. I too am thinking and worring about you.

Peace, baby.

It is a stunning morning here. I woke up thinking I would NOT workout, but go to the office and get everything done I needed to, but I just can't resist the weather. I'll be pounding the pave to the lake and back. Also will toss in some biceps and triceps work. As I suspected, neck and shoulder is sore this morning from my light shoulder workout, but manageable. I slept like a rock last night and feel great this morning. Abs are really sore this morning...loving that feeling so much I'm doing more ab work today!

My 15 minute project today will be to clean out the home office, finally. Actually, that will be about 10 15 minute projects but I don't care.

Happy Friday.

Good Morning,

Feeling a little funky this morning. Overslept and woke up to one BIG headache this morning so there was no workout again this morning. But it is Friday, it's payday and the office work week will be coming to a close in a few hours.

Hope your Far Out Friday is a good one.

TGIF!!!! Even though I have to work until 9:30 p.m.! I'm excited about a weekend off and I think I will go out of town - Shrveport AND Dallas for shopping expeditions. Phyllis' post on the Whole Foods store made me want to check that out up in Dallas area.

I did a little 2 mile powerwalk as I woke up a little late & have to scoot to an early morning meeting.

Have a fantastic Friday everyone!

Good morning!

Sounding upbeat and chipper, Phyllis. Thanks for the good example.

Trying not to let a whopper of a headache get to me. All the noise in the office sounds louder than normal. The guy in the cube next to me has a very calm and well modulated voice, but it sounds like he's yelling this morning and I want to scream. Someone's crashing boxes around like we work on a loading dock instead of a professional office. Even the phones with their low chirpy rings sound shrill. Gotta find me some Advil, and fast.

I'll do cardio and UB/abs for my workout tonight. Lunch is salmon and the last of my roasted veggie mix, unless someone twists my arm and convinces me to go out (easiest thing in the world to do). Snacks are good - lemon chiffon yogurt, edamame, almonds, and a few strawberries. Dinner is grilled trout; veggies - yup, there are veggies in the fridge and, except for the spaghetti squash, I can't remember what they are.

Have a good day, everyone!

Hope that Advil has kicked in by now and you're feeling better.

Far out baby!!

For meals today I have the following planned....protein shake for breakfast, double tall non fat latte for morning snack (with the ladies when we go out), and sushi for lunch.

Eric's going up to Seattle U and picking Bryan up after work, will be quite a long drive for him both ways poor guy, but Bry wanted to come "home" for the weekend.
