"wicked" used as an adverb, with the Bostonian accent ---

"wikkid hot", "wikkid cool", etc.

Sadly, it's still wikkid common here.....

A Dunkin' Donuts ad running up here features Curt Schilling (the pitcher who joined the Red Sox this year) sitting in front of his locker listening to audio tapes trying to learn Bos-talk as he eats a DD treat. The one he gets stuck on and keeps repeating is "wikkid hahd". A clubhouse guy comes in, hears him stumbling along, and comes over to him saying "No, no Curt, not like that. Heah's how ya dowit...."

Loses in the translation, but it's pretty funny.
