Sneaky Aunt Flo arrived unexpectedly this morning. Now I know why I was so exhausted yesterday afternoon. Never did take a nap. Thought if I just went ahead outside I'd get more energy, so I got some things done in the yard. I still felt overwhelmingly tired, so I got my bath, ate, and got in bed before 7 to chill and watch TV. I wound up falling asleep around 8 or so, I think. Although, Rob came in and talked to me about something twice.

In spite of being so tired, I kept waking up during the night, so my sleep wasn't restful. I've noticed that over this past year, right before I start I do get incredibly tired sometimes. I didn't have any other symptoms, so I didn't put 2 and 2 together. Of course, this means my worst day (tomorrow) will be when I have my very first committee meeting for the Cowford Ball.

Happy Monday. Start of a new week. Taking the day off from work today. Still haven't gotten to the home office to clean it up and out and do filing, etc. Will do that today. Also have to hit the grocery store.

But FIRST...after I get the kiddies off to school, I'm heading out for my powerwalk. Looking forward to it. Then I'll hit the weight machine for chest and back and the bench for abs. Didn't work out yesterday and I definitely missed it and could tell a difference. Cloudy this morning...callin' for rain tomorrow through Thursday I believe. We need it, but it messes up my workouts! Have I ever mentioned to you all that I have a difficult time getting onto the treadmill????? lol

Will also be working on laundry. Looking forward to the day!

Hugs.

Sassy

Good morning! Can't believe we're in the last few days of March!!!And this weekend the time changes. We're suppose to have showers Tuedsay until....But for the moment we have sunshine and I'm going to savor it.Yesterday I got behind and almost blew off my run.But the sun was shining and I really wanted to be outside in it.So I headed outside for my run and enjoyed every minute of it.

Today I will run and get some weights in.Want to focus on chickens and get somethings done here at home.Hopefully some extra cooking and baking.

Woke up today feeling happy, thankful and excited about all the possibilities.Great feeling!

Have a super day everyone!

The weekend was good. Even though I took friday off, it seemed too short. Clearly I need a vacation...which I'm planning at the end of June to Colorado....YAY!

I miss my Jazzercise this morning and it's bumming me out. I've gotten into the habit of going to the 545am class on monday, wednesday and friday and I didn't go today. Now I'm going to try to get into the habit of plugging in a tape or taking a walk in the morning. Wish me luck.

So today is yoga class day. But before that and after work I have to help DH and our landlord move some appliances to storage. Yippee. I don't know why they think they need me, but ok so long as I'm not late for class. I guess that will be my 15 minute project for today.

Food WILL be good today. Started off with my oatmeal and fruit this morning and I have a nice, healthy lunch all packed up. Dinner will be a challenge.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,

It is a bright and sunshiny day today! Can't quite believe the weekend is over-they pass by in a blur, and that it is the end of March already.

I did get up for my 5:15 wake up call and did weights and walk tape.

I'll be heading for work soon, for the 9 to 5 and then home to try out a new recipie on my victims here at home. Walking the dog after dinner and then hopefully empty all of my laundry baskets.

Have a marvelous Monday.

Morning ladies,

I have about 5 minutes then out the door I must go. Went to bed about 10:15 last night and got up at 5:30. I had to bake a crumb cake for our GS bake-off this evening. Did that, made lunches, folded some towels, did my 2 mile walk away tape, had some Special K for breakfast and then downed a second cup of tea while getting showered and ready for work.

My 15 minute project will be to run to the bank at lunch time. Home at 5, when Katie then can start her homework. Dinner will be soup and grilled cheese. And that is about it. Week two starts today, lets hope I remember some of the stuff from last week.

Good morning!

Busy weekend. Don't really remember what I did, except for going to my nephew's bowling birthday party Saturday afternoon. 13 kids between the ages of 5 and 8, excited to be bowling, energized by pizza, soda, and cake, and out of their minds at the prospects of playing arcade games after the goodies. Whew! They had fun, the grownups had fun, and DH and I took the long way home. Seriously, we went out of the parking lot the same way we came in and somehow ended up well north of our home. It was fun, though. Got lost in some very lovely neighborhoods until we came to some familiar landmarks, got ourselves righted, and headed south toward home.

Except for the birthday cake, had an awesome eating and workout weekend. I watched the Beach Babe Challenge on Travel Channel Saturday evening and got inspired to do back-to-back workouts Saturday and Sunday. Drank a lake's worth of water both days, sweated an ocean, and didn't hurt anything, but really felt it.

Heading for NYC tonight. Work seminar Tuesday and Wednesday, then back home Wednesday evening. Not a lot of time available for working out at the hotel; only early am, and I'm not an early am workout fan. I'm on a mission to eat a real breakfast both mornings at the hotel, rather than be plied with pastries at the meeting site, and to eat the only salads and the innards of the lunch sandwich offerings. Mid-morning and afternoon snacks will be a challenge; I'm hoping the spirit of South Beach and Dr. Atkins will be present and that there will be fruit offerings instead of just cookies/coffee cake.

Running a lot more errands at lunch today; I'll try to check in throughout the day, as I do not have a laptop and will be out of touch until Thursday.

Have a great day, and week, everyone!

Saturday was nice - I was a little too sore from Friday to work out, plus we weren't sure when some friends from out of town were stopping by for a visit.

Sunday, both Allison and I were having stomach rumblings mid-afternoon, both of us napped during the day. Afterwards she was playing with a friend here at our house... and she threw up. By that time I wasn't doing too good either, not wanting to eat anything, standing up too long made me feel like I was going to heave. The Cus was great, took care of both of us, went out and got me some ginger ale. I didn't move from bed from 7pm forward last night until 5am this morning which is when I had some jello that I'd made. Around 6:30am both Al and I were up, but neither of us felt like eating - and we both went back to bed. Allison got up for good around 7:30 and is zipping around feeling fine. I'm finally up, and I feel weak, but the coffee tastes good. No sign of whatever it was that got us. I figured we either got it from one of the playdates we had this week, or the doc's office when we had Allison's foot x-rayed. Not a way to end a weekend, or start a week!

Not sure if I'll work out today or not. I want to, but might not be in any condition to.

Gotta mail a few things today - items I've sold on eBay, and my niece's birthday gift.
