I say go for the Claritin. That's what I use and it's wonderful. I have allergies to tons of things so I take it pretty much all the time.

I used to take Claritin and loved it.Didn't knock me out and no other side effects either.Don't have as many problems with allergies any more but if I do this spring I'll reach for Claritin. You can get a great buy on it at Costco.I also use over the counter eye drops for allergies when I mow, helps alot.

My Mom used a nasal spray called Flonase for awhile. She began having continuous problems and it took awhile to realize what was causing it.Actaully it wasn't til I looked it up on the computer that we put it together.Mom stopped the spray and had some problems doing that.So I tend to be leary of things like that though I'm sure others have had better luck.

I've taken Extra Strength, Non-drowsy formula, Sinutab Sinus/Allergy formula for as long as I can remember when allergies act up. It was prescription many years ago. I find even Walmart and Kmart generic formulas that say they're equivalent to it work well too. When it's really bad, I also use eye drops for allergies. We're still in the flowering season (multiple kinds of trees, azaleas, Indian hawthorne, citrus, Japanese plum, Bradford pears, etc.), but it peaked about a week or so ago. However, the pine and

Hi Deb. Springtime and allergies don't usually bother me, but I've got a stuffed up nose and my eyes feel like they are going to start running. I think we must be having an exceptionally wicked year this year in the Northwest!

I took a Tylenol Sinus and Cold, but it didn't do a darn thing for me. I'll have to pick up some Claritin too! I think that is what I get for Ray every year.
