Margie-girl. I feel like I'm at an AA meeting...Hi, my name is Sassy and I'm 30 pounds overweight! Talk about MY honesty...you are right on! I love your attitude. And huge kudos for actually figuring out what WORKS for you! I have yet to do that!

I, too, sneak thru DH's things and trash a bit here and trash a bit there. I think it's a wife's duty :)

Take care...

Sassy

After a beautiful and very warm day yesterday, we are into the drizzle here. But I'm not complaining!! I'm hoping it might keep the pollen down a little bit. I didn't get much of a workout in yesterday, but did end up spending a couple of hours finishing up the weeding on my back flower borders. Dang, that rain sure makes those weeds grow! Now I can get into the fun part.....planting a bunch of new stuff!

I pulled out my "Get With the Program" again re-read the first part. I'm determined to get fit and healthy. The heck with "losing weight". I know it will happen eventually if I take care of myself!

I'm not having much success with trying to get back into everything at once, so I'm going to do the baby-steps thing. Get in the habit of guzzling my water *every day* and not beat myself up if I don't get a cardio work out in *every day*! I'll build on what I do manage to get done!

For anyone battling the cholesterol monster, I just read that pumpkin seeds are supposed to be excellent.

Have a marvey day everyone!~

That post makes me chuckle. My dh is pretty good about culling things himself, except for the t-shirts and underwear. He has a couple of "logo" t-shirts that have definitely seen better days. They are too small and very threadbare, but he just won't part with them. I think he must have some sentimental attachment to them!

And then there's the underwear!! He'll wear them until there is no elastic left and they have holes. When we first started dating, his cousin came to his house to stay and was doing his laundry for him. She told him if he wanted to keep a girlfriend, he'd better go buy new underwear!!! LOL

OK lets not get too carried away with telling the world which one of us are "30 pounds" overweight! Gosh, can't a gal get a break around here!

Is this another guy thing with not ever throwing out old clothes? He has the change the oil in the car jeans, the painting jeans, the working in the yard jeans, the going to the store jeans well you get the idea and he had a Tshirt on the other day that had so many holes that it looked like someone had used it for target practice, maybe that was the install the new dishwasher shirt. He used to darn his socks too...but I think the novelty of that wore off.

Hmmmm...ok so he has all those jeans for specific uses. Funny how we can't have an everyday purse, an evening bag, a smaller everyday purse that matches our nice shoes or even a second pair of black shoes without getting grief for it.
