Okay, I finally did it....

I have an appointment with my internal meds doc today at 4:00. I figured I would go in with both barrels blasting at the height of my MAJOR PMSing this month.
Completely blew up at all 3 of my children this morning. Not that they didn't deserve some wrath, but not the wrath I unloaded on them. Had to lock myself in my room for awhile and told them to just go away and let mommy shower by herself. This is NOT normal behavior! Had to call DH several times yesterday and have him, "talk me down". My sister says I need some "chill pills". I'm thinking she's right. I'm hoping that the soy protein will help. About 15-20 days out of every month I'm sleepless, anxious, stressed, edgy, yadda yadda. Somethings gotta give! If the boss even dares to LOOK at me wrong today, I'm outta here.
Glad I got that off my chest!
Thanks for listening and supporting me. I'll share my drugs...NOT!!!

I don't have night sweats, hot flashes or anything like that, but I'm not sure if it's the soy helping or that I am not at that point in my middle years. The only thing that really helps me with my pain during AF is the bc pill. I wish there was something more natural that helped, but there isn't for me. Our bodies are all different and I hope you find the right mix.
I hope you feel better soon!
Love ya'!

Good for you for making the appointment. PMSing that long is hard on everyone. Hope the doc can help you!
If you don't get any good answers, try getting in as much dietary calcium that you can when PMSing and cut down on the sodium. The soy protein may help too as well as soy isoflavones. Go to www.power-surge.com
and see if you can get more information on what natural things you can try. There is a wealth of info there on nutrition and supplements.

It's nice if you can do it naturally but...we all have varying degrees of pms or peri-menopause.

You are so right Phyllis about how a lot of women suffer terribly with PMS and Perimenopause and natural remedies won't help. I know there is a new medication out for severe PMS....(pmdd?). The hard part is getting the doctors to listen to you and
