Good morning everyone!I can't believe it's Thursday already.Anyone else think the week is flying by?And good grief it's April!!!!I made it thru March!!!

What are you thinking thankful thoughts for today?I'm thankful for the day I spent with my Mom.And I have to thank Booty for that. She had mentioned how much she missed her Mom.It made me realize how much I take my parents for granted.Mom and I have personalities that sometimes clash. But the other day I realized one day she may not be with me and I truly cherished each minute with her. And it did turn out to be so much fun!!!!So that's my thankful, what's yours?

What's on your workout plan for today?I want to focus on cardio, yesteday I did weights. So today a run or maybe my step.

Kat, thanks for the water reminder. Yesterday I did better than I have in quite awhile.

Anyone have any 15 min projects planned?I have to get to the bills I didn't yesterday.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Miss P

Happy Thankful Thursday.

Cold, rainy and my throat is killing me. But, at least I can turn the day around and make it a good one, if I choose to do so. Haven't decided, yet!

It's going to be a busy day at work today and tomorrow. No workout for me on the schedule. I truly am sick, but have to keep moving.

Thankfuls. I'm thankful for throat lozengers that make it possible for me (and DH lying next to me) to sleep.

Hugs.

Sassy

Good morning! Believe it or not, the first thankful that popped into my head this morning is that we have had (have) Phyllis as our CL. She has been a real blessing to this group. I'm thankful I ate better, took my supplements, and walked yesterday and could feel a bit of a difference in my energy level. I'm thankful that Erin sent Rob a photo of herself yesterday by email. It's the first time I've seen what she looks like in probably over a year and even though it is a kind of forced smile photo for work, it is so good to see that she's got her hair back to natural instead of bleached out and straightened. I'll see if I can copy it here.

Today is an FCFRW meeting, which is the other Republican women's club that I'm leaning toward gradually moving my primary membership to. We'll have a speaker from the Bush - Cheney '04 national campaign and someone to try to make some sense of the McCain - Feingold campaign contributions law.

Should be a little cooler today, maybe low 70's, but still sunny and nice to do things outside.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Erin's photo -- It's a little stiff from being taken at work, but pretty good. Money spent on her braces was well worth it. ;-) Found out she was nominated for an industry award for one of her projects. It's kind of like the Grammys are for music and is an honor just to be nominated. She'll find out in May if she won. She was receiving lots of congratulatory calls yesterday morning. Wish one could have been from me.

Rhonda, what a beautiful picture of a beautiful woman.I love her hair.Any chance you could call her?Or could Rob ask if it was ok to give you an address to send her a congratulations note?

Thinking about you and wishing you could have contact with her.

Good morning Princess. Yes, the week is flying by and that's just fine with me. What a week it's been.

I'm glad I could be of service, Milady. It's easy to take what we have close at hand for granted. I think we're all guilty of that from time to time. My thankful this week is my DH. He's really a peach of a guy (no, that does not mean he's covered in fuzz!) even if he drives me crazy sometimes. As Patty said, it's a short ride.

Today's workout will be a nice walk if the weather holds out. It looks to be a nice day, but I haven't heard what they're callin' for.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning ladies! How come we don't have any guys posting here, just curious? I can't believe it's Thursday either. Unfortunatly our weather this week has been horrible unless you are a duck or a fish. We have more rain today and into Saturday. At this rate we should not have a drought this summer.

What are you thinking thankful thoughts for today? Well Patty you got me thinking about Mom too. I also tend to just take her for granted. Heck she drops what she is doing tons of times to help me out, including the afterschool care for Katie now that I am working. Yesterday I had this thought.........."oh no, tomorrow my day off and my mom is going to show up", that was awful for me to think. She is pushing me to go to Curves and not give up. I should be more grateful for her care and concerns towards me. So even though she has no idea I thought that, I am sorry and I take it back!

What's on your workout plan for today? Heading to Curves with mom after I run Miss Katie to school for her math extra help. Later I am going to the mall to use the last of my birthday gift certificates so I might walk around the mall once or twice.

You mentioned water, I miss it. With work I have my water bottle but once its empty its done. There is no water cooler and I hate tap water. I might have to bring in several bottles and maybe leave some in the trunk of my car. I really do miss it.

Anyone have any 15 min projects planned? Just my day off house cleaning, more then 15 minutes worth.

Have a great day everyone!!

Good Morning,

It's a very rainy gloomy day outside but now that April is here they are showers to bring us beautiful May flowers! It's National Walk to Work Day but I don't own a wet suit or waders so I think I'll opt for the car, park in the rear of the lot and have a brisk walk into the building!

Workout was a 2 mile walk tape and abs. 15 minute project will be to get the checkbook balanced. Another new menu on for dinner tonight!

Rhonda-Erin is a real beauty!

Sassy-hope you get some down time from your busy schedule so that you can start feeling better.

Thankfuls: Phyllis who has been our fearless leader and a woman who has been an inspiration, motivator and so much more on this board.

DH-who always makes sure that the AM coffee to ready to go when I emerge from the basement in the morning. And I might add in addition to giving me a sparkling clean bathroom every Saturday he makes a darn good pot of coffee!

And for Quicken that has made bill paying and checkbook balancing so much easier!

Hope your Thursday brings you good things!

Since we don't have a water cooler at work and our fountain water is terrible I carry extra bottles with me in a small tote bag. I have my water bottles and some healthy snacks that I can eat at my desk during the course of the day.
