What are you thinking thankful thoughts for today?I'm thankful for the day I spent with my Mom.And I have to thank Booty for that. She had mentioned how much she missed her Mom.It made me realize how much I take my parents for granted.Mom and I have personalities that sometimes clash. But the other day I realized one day she may not be with me and I truly cherished each minute with her. And it did turn out to be so much fun!!!!So that's my thankful, what's yours?
What's on your workout plan for today?I want to focus on cardio, yesteday I did weights. So today a run or maybe my step.
Kat, thanks for the water reminder. Yesterday I did better than I have in quite awhile.
Anyone have any 15 min projects planned?I have to get to the bills I didn't yesterday.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Yesterday's 15 min. project never happened. The same politics of baseball happened as last year & about 40 moms stormed the baseball association. They will redraft. Jeepers! So Danny may have a different coach (which is fine with me as he got a real fit thrower).
Today I'll have better luck with eating - lunch will be at one of the country clubs & I'll have salad and lots of veggies. Today's workout was the total body workout I did on Tuesday.
I'm thankful for my ds. I was just thinking after buying a DVD and a CD for myself last night, my ds NEVER asks to buy music or movies for himself. He has an Xbox, his own TV and stereo and CD player. He hasn't even asked me for a game since I got the XBox! Fishing is his thing, I guess, and his dad takes care of his needs and wants for that hobby (& the baseball)! Later, I know he'll be asking for more "things" and one of them will be a car, but I'm thankful that he gets pleasure out of simple things. I think I will ask him if he'd like me to buy him a little something in the way of music or a game.
Have a wonderful day, all!
You all have a good day!

Good morning all-
I can't believe it's still winter here.

Something that looks like the top of my desk has reappeared. I still haven't seen most of the posts, but thought I'd check in with my thankfuls, a few thoughts, and Thursday plans.
Thankfuls: 1) For DH - His smiling face at the train station was a wonderful sight! 2) For a brain that still can absorb information. I was getting a bit concerned about a lack of retention, but it's there - I guess I just have to be engaged and interested in the material being presented. 3) For a safe flight home - can you spell bumpy?! 4) Friends here - I missed you all. 5) For a modicum of security and safety in a very uncertain world - I visited the World Trade Center site Tuesday before dinner, and even now, found myself unable to do more than look, read the text and view the photographs through damp eyes, and think of this place that was once teeming with activity and vitality as truly a resting place for so many souls.
Plans for today - Finish my laundry and put everything back where it belongs. I love order. My only workout until tomorrow is a good stretch for my legs and my back. Back to the really active stuff Friday, to get ready for my niece's sleepover!
Rhonda and Phyllis - You'll have mail soon....

Hi, Patti...how nice to have a visit with your Mom. A very good thing to be thankful for. I also can't believe how quickly the weeks go by. I guess it is a sign of getting older. Remember how long time felt when you were a kid?
I am very thankful for the good blood test results for DS. I am always thankful for the normally healthy wonderful family I have.
I taught the body sculpting class today and worked up quite a sweat because we just kept moving. I go to the doc tomorrow and maybe I will be able to do more after that.
I have to clean, but my real project is reconciling the business check book. Have to get going with it too!

For a jolt of carbs - expecting the worst after the quantities I ate for the last two days, I got on the scale this morning - 2 lbs down. The same two I had put back and have been fighting with since around Valentine's Day. So, I'm back on track. And all it took to put me in the right was a serving of baked ziti....
Go figure....
