Good Sunday Morning

Good morning everyone!Looking forward to an extra hour of sunlight today! Can't wait til it's actually warm and sunny.Today we have cold and lots of wind.

Nothing exciting planned for here today.Plan on getting a run in on the treadmill. The chickens are keeping me busy right now.Two houses are falling apart on me and it's nothing more than a sorry breed of birds.Gets frustrating to get this far into a flock and have this happen.Tomorrow the service guy is suppose to show up.I am so frustrated with him and the company.I had mentioned earlier they wanted me to do some things at my expense. They have yet to give me a cost on it.All service guy says is"it shouldn't be much".That's no way to do business. Plus it would appear it has done nothing to help and maybe even gone in the other direction. Then the other day when I had problems and concerns the service guy sent out a substitute because he was too busy to get over here.Wish I had a substitute I could send out to do my work.Sorry didn't mean to get off on a whine so early in the day!!!!!

Ok, what's your plans for today? And who the heck has all the warm weather?Come on, SHARE!!!!

Miss P

Patty, I'm sure thinking that the 'company' doesn't treat you right!

Good Morning,

Patty, sorry to hear you're enduring so much frustration with the company people and this flock of birds. Are you waving goodbye to these birds soon?

Absolutely no warm weather to share with you. It's raining again and just when I thought it was safe to put away the scarf and mittens there is talk of plummeting temperatures and yes the "S" word is in the forecast again. OK Phyllis fess up did you send the Colorado snow to the northeast?

Anyway I love the extra hour of daylight I will admit this whole clock thing messes with my mind and it really doesn't take much to mess with it these days.

No workout on the agenda today. On the seventh day I'm going to rest in that department at least. DD wants to continue with our basement project and get the rest of the stuff into storage and such. Not sure when if at all my house stands any chance of getting at least vaccumed or at the least straightened up this weekend and since I have no clean underwear laundry is at the top of the priority list. So I'll see how much energy I have left in me today. I had to have a 2nd cup of coffee this morning to jolt me into the real world. I couldn't fall asleep last night and then was awake on and off and wide awake around 3:30 thinking DS wasn't home yet. The couch and a magazine sound mighty inviting today but don't think it's going to happen.

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday. I hope someone, somewhere is enjoying a beautiful warm sunny day!

Good morning all! Sun is out but cold and very windy here in the capital of NC. Plan to do elliptical workout for an hour but at a low-to-medium range. Need to drop off one of the cars for early-bird Monday maintenance/repair later. All these potholes cause misalignment and will be glad when The City repairs them. Am thinking that since the mall happens to be near the car place, maybe I’ll stop at Barnes and Noble or Coldwater Creek.

You all have a wonderful Sunday!

That sounds like a great sermon, Michele! I think I've seen him on TV before. Someday, you, hubby and your ds should try out Sunday School! I LOVE it! If you guessed it's because we can participate (speaking), that's the reason! I love to talk, LOL! Anyway, I think a great way to initially worship God, fellowship with Christians, AND learn new truths is to go to Sunday School. We sing, pray, study, worship, praise and fellowship in that hour. Even though I work at Dillard's most Sundays, I can still get my worship in thru Sunday School. I love the "laid back" atmosphere, too!

I wish I lived near you, and I'd come & kidnap you to take you to SS!

Good for that Marriage Enrichment Instructor! That reminds me of a book on the Women of Faith website, "Big Girls Don't Whine". I need that book, LOL! I have to say that I didn't get a whole lot out of a Divorce Recovery class at another Baptist Church I took after my divorce because the wife of the couple giving the class dwelled on negativity too much. She talked of her former marriage & the wrongs done to her (I wondered what her new husband was thinking!). which set the tone, enabling all the "wronged" to whine. Fortunately, the videos and reading material were good.

Yep, you military folk probably don't have a whining bone in your bod! And I mean that in a good & respectful way.

How frustrating, Patty! Yeah, it's not their money or livelihood they're messing with, so it's easy to dismiss you. I can't imagine running my own business and being at the mercy of these companies. Hope things get better!

Hugs,

Kat

How nice last night's marriage enrichment class went so well. Did you get to watch your movies last night? Have a good run! It is hard to fit in your own workouts when you are training others. I find that when I teach classes too.

You sound good, Phyllis!
