My day was busy. I did get a nap in this afternoon, heck I needed it. I also did about 6 batches of laundry, and I did some light house cleaning. Nothing heavey duty. Did a steak on the BBQ for dinner and then I soaked in a hot bubble bath. Going to go upstairs in about 15 minutes once I finish my tea. Snuggle under my covers and hope hubby will join me before I fall asleep......lol. I have been doing that alot lately. Work tomorrow so I already picked out my clothes and packed a bag with some snacks. I plan on getting up regular time even though the kids are off from school. I want to walk my 2 mile tape around 6:15 and then hit the showers. We are supposed to get hit, yet again with some snow showers in the morning. Starting to doubt if the spring is ever going to get here.
I've had a good day.The wind here today has been awful and I had to make myself go out to get some groceries.I finally hauled my backside on my treadmill and got a really good but short run in.I confided in one sister just how much I've eaten this week. (You guys wouldn't believe it.)Anyway she told the other sister who had to call me and razz me about it.I baked some cookies for DH to take to work tomorrow. Then I got on the couch and watched Somethings Gotta Give.Cute movie.Love the outfits Diane Keaton wears in that movie, very classic.
Glad you found a good "lead" for Annie, Nancy. I bet you two will be enjoying many walks this spring & summer!
I got loads of housecleaning done after Sunday School. I read quite a bit & never noticed the time. I turned on the news a little while ago and all of it was so negative, I had to turn it off! That woman who killed her 2 boys and injured her baby was ruled insane. I hope she doesn't get custody of her baby. CNN had the lawyers from both sides on & I just couldn't watch it. Then they had a thing about the New Anti-Semitism & I couldn't bear to hear that, either.
It's now bedtime & I didn't do a thing workout wise - oh, well . . .
I had quite an eventful day. Tim, Rob, his friend, and I went to St. Augustine for the Palm Sunday weekend art show and the blessing of the fleet. We got down there in time to walk through the historic area over to the bay and get a prime spot to watch procession of the bishop and all the "royalty" from the 15th c. (I think) in antique costumes from the cathedral to the dock for the blessing of the fleet. After that we headed back to the art show and looked at all the various art, jewelry, etc. The highlight of the day for us was discovering a musical group called AcoustiCon. They were absolutely awesome! Sassy, I wish you could have seen the lead guitarist in particular. He is strongly influenced by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai who I'd mentioned to you in an earlier post. I watched part of a set and then another solid hour one, they were so good. We got both of their CD's, which they autographed for Rob. I talked to them during a break and gave them Rob's guitar teacher's card to see if he can hook them up with someone here to book them for a show. I also emailed his teacher about them. I would LOVE to see an entire concert of their stuff.
On the way home, we a tall thick plume of dark smoke in the distance and later came upon a road block and lots of traffic. I found out later that a large fire had started on Race Track Rd. near I-95, so they had closed a stretch of
All-round great! Our choir presented "The Life of Christ" for Palm Sunday, both services. Upon coming home, a quick lunch/dinner (made the day before, not eaten because the birthday party we went to ended up being a cookout), then sacking out for about an hour. Later just wasted gas on a little driving tour of our region - too nice to just stay inside. Last night about a 35 minute workout - LB and some abs. Didn't do all the abs, for some reason I lost interest (!) a little over half-way through. But at least I got something in.

How about everyone else?
