Good morning everyone!Guess it's alittle early to ask how everyone is :)

Sassy, I really hope you're feeling better.Donna, did you guys get any snow?

The weather here continues to be so up and down.Windy and cold the past few days. Wet and cold days before that.Warming up some today with more showers coming this way.I don't do well with this type of weather, maybe you've heard me whine?????Yesterday I actually did some housework and rewarded myself with fresh flowers for my kitchen table.I'm so glad I did. They brightened my mood so much.Plus it's so rare that my kitchen table is not piled full of DH's stuff. I boxed up his stuff and got it off the table yesterday. So for the moment it's a double pleasure to look at my table. Now instead of table piled full of junk that overwhelms me each time I look at it I have a table with a bouquet of beautiful yellow flowers on it.A quick therapy session for only 6 bucks.Everytime I look at it I think I a)need to stay on top of the junk that can become overwhelming once it gets out of hand. (and yes my thighs are included in that) and b)remember to do little things that makes me smile, keep me focued on the positive and sometimes are just about me.I hope today each of you can find something to do that makes you smile. What could it be?

Ok, any workout plans?Going to shake up your meals, put something new in or take something out?Shar, it sounds like you are back on track big time.Way to go!Booty, have you done anymore jazzercise classes and how are you feeling?Anyone else facing any fitness challenges? Can we help in anyway?

Have a great day today gang!

Miss P

Tazmanian Tuesday around here! So much to do, so little time to get it done....

Yes, I went to Jazz this weekend and it went pretty well. I may go tonight, I haven't decided yet. If the weather cooperates, I may just get out my bike and pedal around the block. I think the weather is supposed to be nice today maybe getting up to 70. What a relief to see the sun for once. But it's supposed to cool down this weekend and they're callin' for rain maybe. Ah well, what's Easter without a chilly breeze?

I'd better hop to it...lots to do. Have a super uber day!

So true about clearing off the table & putting flowers on it, Patty! I should do that & I can't blame any man for the bills on the table syndrome!

I hope today is a better day than yesterday - so much strife at Dillard's (a few associates want all the sales to themselves & were finally reported to the manager) and lots of stress at the Realtors over the annual golf tournament fundraiser. Wish I could take a vacation now. I'm going to just pray about it, do my jobs & stay out of the way of the crabby people.

My legs are hurting today, so nothing on my plate but getting to both jobs, transporting the boys to baseball, laundry & meals. Did get my devotional done - not compromising that!

Have a great Tuesday, everyone!

Good Morning,

Another beautiful bright blue sky-sending you some Donna if MA doesn't have any. But it's still windy and cold. It was nice walking Otto after dinner and it still being light but would have liked it better without 2 sweatshsirts, hat and gloves!

Workout this morning was weights and treadmill. I'm just not feeling that energy and pep after a workout lately. I know it's good for me but would like some spring in my step afterwards. Tutoring should be taking place tonight and really struggled last night pulling together a lesson-hope it goes well.

Good for you Patty for bringing a smile to your face with some fresh flowers. I just love fresh flowers in the house. I'll certainly agree that the piles of clutter amass real fast and are overwhelming. Unfortunately it's usually not mine and no one else really seems to care whether it's there or not. Ok I seem to be a bit on the crabby down side of things this morning-so I'll stop now.

Off now to do some work before work!

Hope your Tuesday is totally terrific!

Got my abs work in, then later a run - about 2 miles, give or take 2/10ths mile! - concluding with UB. My legs are sore (a good sore) from 3 straight days of working them, 2 runs and LB weight work, so today I'll either rest or do one of my new Pilate's videos to stretch. Allison's gymnastics coach has challenged his classes to do 10 situps daily over the spring break which amounts to two weeks before her next class, so I'll still probably do my abs to keep us *both* motivated. Gained a pound since my illness last week probably from rehydrating, but at least I'm starting to workout in earnest again with only one day off since Thursday - if my memory is working right!

Today Allison and I will make snacks for her Mom's Morning Out class tomorrow (chocolate peanut butter squares - yum!). I finished up laundry, have a little mending to do. I'm borrowing a carpet steamer from a friend today, and I want to get at least the living room and dining room carpets cleaned up. We've had the same carpet for 12 years. It's in good shape, but some stains just can't be Resolved or vinegar'd away, especially after 5 years of having a kid in the house. MIL is coming down on Thursday; though she's not the reason I want the carpets super clean, it gives me a "spring cleaning" impetus!

Good morning, Princess and friends!

Patty - I'm with you on the weather. We had snow flurries yesterday, but no accumulation. It just looked bad from the 9th floor with the wind swirling the snow around. The wind and cold continues, along with brilliant, ineffective sunshine (apparently your weak link in the chicken chain found his way here after all!). I'm tired of the cold. I want to put away my winter jacket, boots, mittens, and wooly sweaters. I'm really tired of cold-induced runny noses. I'm looking for moderate heat and no humidity. Know where that place might be and if it's affordable? Maybe it's as simple as buying a big bunch of flowers, like you said, and thinking warm, sunny thoughts.

I did get a good workout in Monday evening - cardio and really good leg and glute work. I am determined to whittle those Pony Express saddlebags down to change purses come hell or high water!

I've got a UB/abs/cardio workout on the agenda tonight. My neck, right shoulder, and right mid-back rib area have been twinging since Sunday (cause unknown), so I'll start with light weights and see where it goes from there. No sense making it worse.

Lunch is yummy leftover eggplant parmigiana without pasta. Dinner is leftover Chinese food. There's enough in the fridge to feed a small army; the challenge will be to eat sensibly instead of feeling the need to clean it all up at once.

Have a good day, everyone!

Hi, Susan - Thanks. It appears the sun found us! The chicken Patty promised to send out found his way...or maybe it's your good wishes....

Kat, I am always amazed at how much you have to do and that you still find time to workout and do your devotional and you make sure that you get Danny to everything you need to.

Good for you about replacing piles of stuff with beautiful flowers! I’m the same way about feeling so much better when things are tidy and pretty. It gives me a lot more energy to look at a well-kept house than piles of stuff. Waking up to a clear-blue sky and birds chirping always puts me in a good mood and makes me smile.

Today is Kathy Smith and Cindy Crawford Video Day. KS: “Ultimate Stomach and Thighs Workout”, “Great Buns and Thighs Step Workout”. CC: “The Next Challenge Workout” (but will just use the weights segment for UB).

Have a good day!
