Sassy, I really hope you're feeling better.Donna, did you guys get any snow?
The weather here continues to be so up and down.Windy and cold the past few days. Wet and cold days before that.Warming up some today with more showers coming this way.I don't do well with this type of weather, maybe you've heard me whine?????Yesterday I actually did some housework and rewarded myself with fresh flowers for my kitchen table.I'm so glad I did. They brightened my mood so much.Plus it's so rare that my kitchen table is not piled full of DH's stuff. I boxed up his stuff and got it off the table yesterday. So for the moment it's a double pleasure to look at my table. Now instead of table piled full of junk that overwhelms me each time I look at it I have a table with a bouquet of beautiful yellow flowers on it.A quick therapy session for only 6 bucks.Everytime I look at it I think I a)need to stay on top of the junk that can become overwhelming once it gets out of hand. (and yes my thighs are included in that) and b)remember to do little things that makes me smile, keep me focued on the positive and sometimes are just about me.I hope today each of you can find something to do that makes you smile. What could it be?
Ok, any workout plans?Going to shake up your meals, put something new in or take something out?Shar, it sounds like you are back on track big time.Way to go!Booty, have you done anymore jazzercise classes and how are you feeling?Anyone else facing any fitness challenges? Can we help in anyway?
Have a great day today gang!

Patty, I can't lie, it feels great to be under control again. I can certainly notice the return in my energy when I do the right things.
We are enjoying more than our share of nice weather here too. They are calling for temps around 70 for much of the week and weekend. I can't recall the last Easter weekend that it didn't rain!!
Didn't get my UB weights in yesterday morning, as I ended up doing more chores around the house than I'd anticipated, so they are a definite today!
The fifteen minute project will probably be to photograph a bunch of baby things that I want to get rid of, put them on a website and then put an ad in the paper. People can "looky loo" at the website and I won't need to have a million people phoning or knocking on the door, that aren't seriously interested.
This time change is working out wonderfully. My boys are still fast asleep, and I get to have some quiet computer time without being pulled in all directions!
Patty, I hear you about the fresh flowers! They are one thing I do splurge on occasionally. Another thing I do is lop off some flowering branches from the cherry tree and pop them in a vase. My next trick is going to be growing some grass in a container on my kitchen window ledge. I think that blast of green will be quite pretty and uplifting. I'd really love to try for that all white slip cover thing in my living room, with some pretty throw cushions in vibrant colours, but with two little boys.....well, enough said!
Have a perfect day everyone!

Deb...that is so good to hear that you are loving your job. I think you could use a slow morning. You are trying to adjust to working and it does take time. Once it gets to be second nature,

I saw a large raccoon run across the road about a block from our house this morning on the way back from taking Rob to school. Apparently, he is unaware of daylight savings time and thought he had another good hour to roam around undetected before all the activity got going. It was cool to see him.
I've been outside a lot today, because the weather is so beautiful. I have been smelling wood burning though, and that concerns me. With the fires that have been breaking out and conditions ideal for more fires, it's pretty alarming.
I'm supposed to go to a grass roots committee meeting and a fundraiser bar-b-que this evening for the senate candidate I'm supporting, but I really don't feel like going. It's downtown at The Landing, which is like a smaller version of Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
