Come on and celebrate! Its the middle of the week! Our weather in NY looks like its starting to change for the better, how about where you are? Is the sun out, are you ready for your bathing suit? Whats your 15 minute project? Who is going to walk the furthest or run the fastest today?

Can not believe I am the first one to post this morning? I am usually the last! Lets hear from everyone!!!

Just sipping my morning tea here. Wanted to get up at 6 but only dragged this sorry body out of bed at 6:30. Made my bed, and folded a batch of clothes. Just waiting for my turn in the shower. Today I am working through my lunch hour and getting out at 4. When I get home I need to pack an overnight bag and the pick Katie up from my sisters house. We are sleeping at the Aquarium in Riverhead tonight along with several other Girl Scout troops. Should be an interesting night...........long! Unfortunatly there will be no exercise for me this week, so I should just accept that. Maybe next week when the kids go back to school. So that is my day. Anyone want to take my place?

Good morning! The weather is bathing suit ready, but the body is not!! At least I have my new radio headphones and pedometer ready to go now.

Another gorgeous day, thankfully, so I will spend as much time outside as possible. Think I'll mow and maybe finally start on edging the shrubbery beds, which would probably be an all day project.

Rob is starting to pet sit a doberman, a German Shepherd, and a cat for his best friend's family while they take a short trip to TN. He owes me the money he'll earn, so I'm pretty happy about that except that I will have to take him over there at least 2X daily. Tomorrow that means leaving the house at 6 AM instead of 6:30 to get them squared away before school. It's hard enough to get him out of here by 6:30.

Hope everyone has a wonderful over the hump day!

The sun will come out today I hope. I hear it is supposed to get up to 70ish. I was going to go to Jazz class tonight, but if the weather is as gorgeous as they say it will be, I'm getting out my bike or taking a nice long walk and get some fresh air. I've been cooped up in the house the last few days trying a new medication and aching fiercely. Feeling a little better today but by the time Jazz class rolls around, I may not be. This really stinks.

So, my 15-minute project will be getting my bike out and airing up the tires and lubing up the chain. Need to get a new computer for it too...that will be for the weekend though.

Talked with the landlord last night about the pool again and it's all set up for us to use it this summer. I'm psyched! I used to love to swim in high school and it's been ages, but I'm going to get back in to it for the summer anyway.

Well, enough blathering from me. Have a super duper alley ooper day!

Good Morning,

Not sure when the last time I had a bathing suit on! The thought actually scares me a bit. When I travel to the beach it's to enjoy walking the boardwalk. Hope to get my bike down there this summer.

I decided today that exercise today would be a little easier on the creaks and groans that seem to multiply as the days go by.So I pulled out one of my walking videos and that was the plan for the day. I will be concentrating on getting my eating back in order. I was feeling so tired yesterday that I gave into it all yesterday and really felt yucky by days end.

15 minute projects keep multiplying around here. I make up a list of things that need to be done every day but it always ends up that the list from yesterday becomes today's list with a few more added on. I really don't think I'll ever be caught up with anything.

Deb-you are a brave woman with all those Girl Scouts overnight!

Hope Wonderful Wednesday is Wonderful to you.

So far, I’ve done well at stickig to diet. Now, if I can just get my stomach to stop “talking”. LOL! Most satisfying meal has been last night's Shrimp Creole w/White Rice, French Green Beans, and Arizona Diet Green Tea. Think it must be the tomato sauce and spices that fill me up. Somewhat disappointed in yesterdays workout not being as hard since I was trying to learn the steps of a new video. Plan to Spin and use Elliptical machines today.

Joined a Ladies only gym and bought a Spin Bike and Elliptical for DH since his complaint was no time to go. As you may have guessed it, I'm the only one using them and will alternate with gym -especially, as gym becomes crowded.

Good morning!

The sun's out, the sun's out! And the wind has died down. And I didn't even have to whine anymore. I'm going out at lunch to enjoy it, and I suspect everyone else in town will be out, also. I'm prepared for pedestrian traffic jams along the streets and especially at the crosswalks. Not to mention very long lines at the healthier-choice takeout places.

I'm happy to announce that there are STILL Chinese food leftovers in the refrigerator. We ate only what I heated up, and I kept that to a minimum. I am now officially sick of Chinese food.

Workout last night was brief. Cardio was effective, UB weight work was probably not - only did two sets at low weight. My shoulder is still twinging, so I'll be taking it easy for a week.

Someone at work keeps opening bags of Smucker's jelly beans. When I find out who it is, I'm going to have a talk with her or him! Yes, I know I don't have to keep acting on my impulse to eat them. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is - needy of sugar!

Tonight should be my night-off from working out. I may do 30 min of cardio; assuming the spirit is still willing when I get home.

Have fun with the Girl Scouts, Deb. My sister was a troop leader when her stepdaughter was involved, and the girls used to go to the Museum of Science for their sleepovers. They had fun; my mom even went with them - that's as close to "camping out" as she's been in a very long time!

Have a great day, everyone!

I've been the Domestic Duchess these last two days. I'd been wanting to steam my carpets for a while - gathering stains from 13 years in the house and 5 of those from having a kid. In our hobby room there are still stains (not remnants, just stains) from "baby blorps" when kidster spit up as a baby. Yesterday I borrowed a friend's Hoover steam vac. It doesn't use steam, really, just hot water and diluted resolve. It's the agitator brushes that do the work. Can't believe what a difference that made, and EEEEEYYYYYYUUUUUUKKKK! the water that was pulled out of the carpet was nasty, nasty, nasty! Eeewwww, and to think we sat and played on that. I could really use another run with it, and might do so after Easter.

Anyhoo, DD's at Mom's Morning Out. Had wanted to do a run, but time's a-running out, because I have to do some errands before picking her (and one of her friends whom I'm watching). Still I'll get in a workout, either full cardio or the usual UB/LB and abs.

15-minute project... definitely the steaming!

Ready for a bathing suit???Not quite, not near!!!!!!

Had to head out early to CL today and then up to the dentist. I hate going to the dentist even though I never have any problems.I'm heading back to CL now, will be in and out of there all day. In between I hope to do weights and get a run in.Suppose to be warm today but right now the wind is up.

I'm falling apart! My fingernail is just about to come off.Last night I realized I'm losing a toe nail too.I woke up one day with a really painful toe and could hardly walk but I don't remember doing anything to it.Good grief I'm running out of good parts. The biggest bummer is I just ordered a toe ring!!!!!I've always thought they were so cute and fun for summer but never got one.I was planning to put it right on the toe where I'm losing the nail.Should have seen DH roll his eyes when I told him about my toe ring.

Hope everyone's day is going well so far.

Happy to say my 3 day bug is gone gone gone and I feel like eating again (not too happy about that).
