Good morning!Ok, who has sunshine????Is Shar still hogging it?:) They are callin for rain to come in here tonight and just keep on. I know it's April but sheeesh!!!!!Talked with a friend yesterday who said the weather was realy putting her in a funk. After awhile it is a bit much isn't it!

So what's on schedule for today?Fun stuff planned?A lazy day for anyone?Anyone grabbing a couple cabana boys and heading to a beach?I keep picturing Shars boys out in their Hawaiian shirts in the sun, so cute.Cussette, is Alison getting a new easter outfit?

I'm heading to the track to meet my sister after awhile.I am so lucky to have her for a walking buddy. The rest of the day will be in CL and probably a run to the grocery store.

Susan, you're in my thoughts.Booty, I hope you're resting this weekend and taking care of yourself.

Have a wonderful day gang!

Morning, Pt and Phyllis...

Yes, I got up early again and ran on the treadmill for 40 minutes, lifted weights and light ab work.

I'll try to send some sunshine your way, Princess! We were blessed with it yesterday & it's peeping out again today. I wish tomorrow would be nice but I've heard differently from the various weather broadcasts.

I'm sleepy! Have to work 9 + hours today, so no workout for me. I think I will go turn in my application at Steinmart, but I don't expect to hear anything bacause she said she has scads of applications.

Looking forward to tomorrow! My hair came out great - I can't afford the rates the stylists charge for highlights, so I bought the Revlon w/cap stuff - it's the blue mixture. Works well on my hair & ds did the top & back. Then I had to go out & buy his streaking stuff to do his blonde streaks. His are golden & mine are more pale, wheat colored streaks. Now I need a haircut.

Have a great Saturday, everyone.

Good morning! Sunny here again! The beach was good for me yesterday, but not so hot for the boys. It looked like a swimming pool, but a pretty one. There was a large crowd due to the holiday, so they saw a number of their friends to occupy them while I was off on my quest for sharks' teeth. I found 76, some pretty nice. Met a nice young couple from NY (severely sunburned!) and told them about the teeth when they asked if I'd found anything. Got them hooked. I use the lazy method to find them by letting the surf uncover them or wash them ashore. They started digging through a mound of coquina and shells and found some real beauties!!! They will have some nice souvenirs to take back with them today.

Rob spent the night at his friend's house, so I got to take care of the other friend's animals again. I had taken a nap yesterday evening, so was wide awake late last night and got hooked on watching The Thin Red Line. It had Jim Caviezel (Jesus in the Passion), Sean Penn, John Cusack, John Travolta, Nick Nolte, the heavyset guy from Chicago, and other stars). I just had no idea how long it would be, and it was 5 AM before it was over. It was at least 5:30 before I got to sleep, so when the alarm went off at 7:30, I was really out.

Haven't decided what we'll do today yet. I'd be happy to go back to the beach, but I don't think the guys are up for it. We're invited to an Easter related play at my friend's church tonight and considering going to that. Weather calls for low to mid-80's, so it will be a great day to be outside. The Mandarin Art Festival is today and tomorrow, so may mosey (sp.?) on over to that.

Erin will be in town this weekend to attend the church she had been going to and to have dinner with her father, stepmother, uncle, and grandmother. I have been seriously debating about showing up for the church service, but have very mixed feelings about it. That's one reason it took me so long to get to sleep this morning in spite of how late it was.

Enjoy your day!

You are brave! I've done Shawn's...pulled thru the cap and all, but I would NEVER let him do mine! His turns out a beautiful golden, too. He is a dark brunette. He has the most beautiful hair (of course he gets from his momma ;). Thick and wavy and I just love to run my fingers thru it, when it's long enough and when he'll let me! He keeps it cropped short these days (sigh). Some day, and I'll rue the day, he'll realize the ladies LOVE it and he'll let it grow out a bit.

I'm sure you both look mah-va-lous!

Good Morning,

The sunshine is here with a beautiful blue sky this morning. I don't think it's supposed to stay too long though as I've heard predictions for the next few days being very wet.

I had trouble falling asleep last night and was having the wierdest dreams so slept in a little this morning. I did get in a good weight workout and a quick walk on the treadmill. I'll get Otto out for a nice walk this afternoon and I'll be needing one too. Hope the sun is still shining. I have lots of housework to do today in prep for tomorrow's company but I'm keeping the menu simple. DD and I roasted and peeled peppers last night for antipasto. She had never done them before and was a lot more patient than I usually am about getting all the seeds out. It was nice to have company for that task.

I'm off to start the chores for the day hope you all enjoy a super duper Saturday!

You are a brave woman! I've done streaks in Rob's hair and had his done at the salon, but don't think I could let him do mine. I did have Tim help paint streaks in mine in the back a year or so ago. I've gotten so I just do all over color most of the time now. John Frieda has a gel for blonde streaks in their line of products for blonde hair. Sometimes I've put that on Rob's hair before we've gone to the beach to help bring out more highlights.
His hair has gotten a lot darker since it's been cut and since he maturing. So far, this year he's just going au naturelle.
