Already got my workout in this morning. What motivated me you might ask? Stepping on the scale this morning and being down 6 pounds in the last two weeks. Always a good motivator.

Cardio, chest and biceps were my workout this morning. Sunday School, church, late lunch at the out-laws, getting the kids ready to go back to school tomorrow (woo-hoo)...that's the rest of my day.

Thank you for this, Phyllis! You know, I was sprinkled as a baby, but I want to get baptized. When all of our sins from the past are forgiven and erased, and we start anew in the Lord we don't ever have to dwell on those past sins again - and yes mine are very bad! I really want to be forgiven and start anew, so I'm going to contact the pastor about getting baptized. You're right, this is the greatest free gift I'll ever have a chance to receive!

I indulged in M&M's myself! My stomach is rebelling this a.m.! I don't really feel like eating at all, to tell you the truth. Church is on agenda, then back home to cook and relax. I may watch my "Christianity - the First 2000 Years" dvd, too.

I hope you all have a very blessed Easter and enjoy your families.

Hugs,

Kat

Happy Easter everyone!!!!!I've been thinking alot lately about Spring and new beginnings.Usually spring is just something I get thru to make it to summer. But this year I'm trying hard to find things to enjoy and be grateful for.One thing I'm always grateful is this group of women. No matter what kind of day I'm having or what the weather is I know this group is here. And you guys always give me a smile, an inspiration,or a good thought to keep me going.~~THANKS~~

Ok, I began my day by locking myself out of the house at 5:30.Made an early run to chickenville and forgot to unlock the door on my way out.Went back to work until I thought it was late enough to yell for DH to wake him up.What a wake up call for him!!!!

I'm taking a day off from fitness. But plan to come back stronger than ever tomorrow!!!!

Enjoy your day!!!!

Good Morning or almost afternoon and a Happy Easter,

Yes, spring is always a new beginning and a very joyful season for me. Maybe even moreso this year.

I've been up since 4AM. A lot of things jiggling around in my head. The house is presentable got some nice things cooking in the oven. I'm not being overwhelmed by anything except for the good things that life holds and I'm going to enjoy the family that surrounds me today.

No workout on the agenda. I was hoping for a post dinner and predessert company walk but the weather is not cooperating today.

Hope that you enjoy a wonderful day and a Blessed Easter.

Happy Easter, everyone!

It's cool and cloudy here this morning, but the weather may hold out north of Boston, which is where we're headed shortly. Too cool for that post-dinner walk along Revere Beach, but I know the little ones will try to con us, anyway. The Easter baskets I'm bringing them should provide ample diversion - not to mention goodies. I dove into the M&Ms and Hershey's kisses last evening - boy, they were good! There are even a few left.....

One of my coworkers took a ride out to the house yesterday and we headed off for a nice walk around here yesterday morning - I think we covered about nearly 5 miles, including a couple of long, slow-rising hills. We got a good amount of resistance from a very high, unexpected headwind. But it was a fun walk - we rewarded ourselves with a run (by car, of course) to Dunkin Donuts for lattes and coolattas. We left the lemon donuts on the rack. DH got to do his errands in peace, uninterrupted by my need to take sidetrips and window-shop, and I got in a good workout in the great outdoors.

I hope you all have a joyous Easter - when you lose faith, remember the miracle that today represents!

Happy Easter everyone!

I did my 35 minutes yesterday so that was good. Today no workout. Bill and I got a sitter last night and treated ourselves to some Mexican Food and Sangria. YUMMY! We got home and instead of him disappearing and heading off to bed I promised him I would make it worth while if he played Easter Bunny for me...........*WINK*! So while I did the baskets all pretty and full he hid the 2 dozen colored eggs around the house. Katie and Rob found them all around 9 this morning. We had blueberry pancakes around 11 and my dishwasher and my washing machine are in full cycle right now. I am going to head upstairs and finish making the beds. My 12lb leg of lamb is in the oven roasting and it should be done around 4. Family is heading over about 3. So in the shower I go in a few and then set the table and fix the rest of the trimmings that go along with dinner. Our weather here is not to pretty, raining, damp, and kind of chilly. Bill is going to fix the fireplace and get it going. Well hope you all enjoy your day!

Phyllis your words about starting over/fresh hit home and I could not agree more. Starting yet again today I promise to pay attention to my food intake. I plan to get up early and get the walk done tomorrow, and I think next week going back to Mass is a must. I have been talking about it for a while now. Thanks to writing what you did.
