Thursday, but I am not thankful for getting a jury summons again for Federal district court. I don't know if you all remember that less than 2 years ago I got called for Federal in Brooklyn. I thought I didn't have to do Federal again for 4 years. This is a closer court, but I am totally confused that I got called again since right afer the Federal summons, I got the county. So I should be safe all around. I guess I should be thankful that I am lucky to live in a just country and that I am able to serve! I won't be happy May 10th when I have to report and postpone another week or two my official start to teach the PIlates classes. At least I don't have to go to Brooklyn.
Yesterday ended pretty well after the confusing start. The dining room is all set up and DH was able to get the brackets in for the glass shelves. The last thing to end the day is that the printer broke for the computer. I guess it is cheaper just to buy a new one with new ink cartridges and just get rid of this one.
I am thankful that PT didn't hurt as much today. My foot is aching now but it is getting stronger. Two more sessions before I go away for about 10 days. (Then come back for jury duty...sheesh).
I won't be on much tomorrow. DD's fiance is graduating from the Suffolk County Police Department academy at 10 am. He

I do believe if my memory serves me correctly you don't have to serve again if you've served within the past 4 years whether it be Federal or County. They should have given you a slip that shows when you served. That should excuse you until the 4 years expire. Call them and verify that. I called for Federal in Brooklyn and holding my breath that if I get called again that it will be in CI and not Brooklyn.
Congrats to future SIL!!!
