Hi, Everybody! What's been happening with your day? Anything exciting planned for tonight?

I got my yardwork done early today (at least what I was planning to do of it today). Tim and I went to Village Inn for a late brunch. I was good and got the turkey and veggie omelet, told them don't bring the hash browns, and gave him my biscuit. He's still feeling crummy, and I'm very concerned about the continued nausea. He has an MRI and PET scan scheduled for Thursday.

We rode down to the garden show in St. Aug., but I don't think it's the same one we usually go to. It was pretty disappointing, especially after all the publicity it had received. So, we headed over to the beach to check out surf conditions. It looked pretty good, so I'm hoping tomorrow will also be good. We headed home so he can take it easy.

I got 10 scratch-off lotto tickets to put in a card for my neighbor's party this evening. Still not sure if I'm going to see my friend's band play by myself or what. Tim had offered to go, but he's really not up to it. It was

Hi Rhonda! Sounds like a very fulfilling day! I went for a walk outside this morning. The weather here is just gorgeous! 70's and sunny! I too, wore shorts and set out on a 6 mile walk but once I got started I couldn't stop and ended up doing 8 miles! It felt great! Got some laundry done, even hung some on the line. My brother came over for a visit with his 1 year old daughter, Zoey (the cutest little child ever! Well, at least till the end of June when my new grandson arrives!). I got on the scale this afternoon and was doing a "happy happy dance"! I'm back down to my goal weight!!! 125 lbs. Whahoo!!! I'm feeling pretty good right now! Dh and I are heading out to church soon and then afterwards we are going to cook weinies on the fire, have a glass of wine, and just kick back and relax.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Hello all, I managed to get my butt onto my treadmill this morning and I walked and ran combo for 50 minutes. I did just shy of 3 miles. I also went and ordered my dress for the wedding. Sad because I measured a size 16, very depressing. My sister took some pictures of me in the dress and I hung one on the frig that says "put down that cookie". The other picture I hung on my full length mirror upstairs in my bedroom telling me to exercise, I just got to loose this weight. I am seriously thinking about this SBD you all are doing and my mom and MIL have been doing it. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and spend a few dollars on me at the grocery store for stuff. Just do not know what else to do here. I have laundry still going and I am going to run the vacume in a few minutes. I also vacumed my car this afternoon, hubby washed it this morning. We are going out to dinner with friends and Katie has a sitter coming to keep her company. That is my day!

Geesh, if I weighed 125 again, I'd be having a major celebration and probably announce it on a billboard!!! Congratulations on that and your marathon walk. Glad to hear you're having good weather.

Congratulations on your walk/run -- 50 minutes is excellent in my book! If you are getting your dress from a bridal shop, you can figure that it is 2 sizes larger than your normal size. Everyone I've ever known to get a bridal or bridesmaid type dress from one of those places always has to buy larger. My daughter was a 2 and had to get a 6 for her wedding (poor baby!). But seriously, I wouldn't go by their number.

If you stick to the SBD it definitely works. They have a very supportive and informative board on iVillage. My problem was I couldn't get myself back on it until I did the hypnosis. I had no trouble the first go-round. I got some broccoli slaw this afternoon to make a sauce for and mix up for snacks, some more salad stuff, and lean meats and eggs.

Hope you'll give it a try! If you do, good luck!

Rhonda, you sound so upbeat and positive!!!Good for you for putting on those shorts. We really have to stop waiting to lose weight before we do things.I feel sure you're the only one who thought your thighs were big. You'd probably be surprised at how many people looked at you and wanted to look like you!!Hope Tim feels better soon.

I had a fantastic day!!Bought a new pair of running shorts and top. Also bought a very different top from what I usually wear.Usually it's basic tshirts and tanks in the summer. Today I got a flowered sheer top with a lining.Very girly :) Came back home and headed to the track with my sister for an hour walk in the sunshine.

We went to my GF's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and a lovely reception. The reception was held at a restaurant overlooking the water. In fact you walked out the door and were on a dock right there on the water. They are such a wonderful couple and the bride and I have been friends since my youngest and her daughter were in nursery school together. We seem to always know when the other needs a phone call or when one of is thinking of the other the phone rings. We've shared all of our ups and downs over the years and I'm so very glad that they found each other.

The food was excellent, the band very nice and DH even invited me up onto the dance floor.

Good for you, Rhonda!! Sounds like the hypnosis is going great! I bet you look better than you think in your shorts, too! Great job on the eating and your gardening - that's some calorie burning.

Did a 3 mi. powerwalk after working until 6 p.m. Missed my ds' scrimmage - his back is still hurting. Will probably have to get him to a doctor. He had wanted to pitch. They won anyway - good boys!

Have to work tomorrow & most of next week but do get next weekend off - yay! My house needs a good cleaning!

I hope your dh feels better soon, Rhonda! Sounds worrisome!
