Well its after 3 which means the day is coming to an end. Sad because that means the weekend is over. Although I love my job I do enjoy being home. Tomorrow will be my first taste of going to work with a child home sick........wish me luck!

So how did you do? Did you start off your day with that healthy breakfast, followed later by a yummy lunch? Did you get outside and take advantage of the fresh spring air? Did you walk, run, or ride a wave today(Rhonda!)?

Well as you know my day started off rocky but got the house semi under control. Did some laundry and fed everyone bacon with scrambled eggs for breakfast.....mine was scrambled egg whites and turkey bacon. Ran my dishwasher and made a few beds. I then went outside and did a 40 minute walk. Not sure how far it clocks milage wise but I was out there for 40 minutes at a brisk pace and even managed a short 1 to 2 minute jog now and then. Returned home and sliced some red peppers, cucumbers, and baby carrots for a nice afternoon snack. Now going to fold a batch or two of laundry and watch Brother Bear with Katie while relaxing on my bed. Then of coarse it will be time to start dinner. Taco's tonight (soft and hard) with yellow rice and refried beans.......yum! Can you all say fattening!

Today has been a mixture of bad and good. First, the bad...Tim is still sick, and I'm getting really concerned. He's scheduled for a PET Scan and an MRI Thursday and Friday, but I don't want him to wait that long to get back to the dr. I also fear they need to schedule a colonoscopy. Also, I got a call from my sister in MD that my Mom called her daughter (Lauren) to talk to her and her husband who's a certified nurse practitioner, because Dad woke up with one arm almost totally limp!! Mom didn't want to "bother" us here on the weekend. I've told her repeatedly if she or Dad need us it's never a bother regardless of what day or what time it is. He's already

It really was just a beautiful day today. I spent the morning grocery shopping and then a lovely sit in my chair with a magazine. Had a nice walk with Otto. I cut up some fruit for the week although DS was eating the cantalope as fast as I could cut it so not sure how long that's going to last! I made a nice grilled chicken pasta salad for dinner. Just kind of a low key day.

Happy the work day is over! I wish dept. stores would be closed on Sunday (I know, it's only because I work at one!).

I'm having my Monjuni's night - I can eat their Salsa di Pomidoro by the spoonfuls out of the jar! I wish I could make a good sauce like this myself - there aren't that many ingredients so it shouldn't be too hard! Will have to experiment. Pasta, salad & red wine for me and a good movie tonight! It's TTOM almost & I'm worn out!

I'll keep your dad and Tim in my prayers, Rhonda! I do hope Tim gets ALL of the tests done ASAP!! Poor guy! Keep us apprised on both of their conditions.

You're so cute with that hypnosis stuff - makes me want to do it!
