Don't know if I'll be heading to the hospital or not, but I'm not making any plans other than that. I really just need a day to hang out around here. Once I hear from Mom I'll know about that.

Tim drank his two banana "smoothies" this morning to prepare for his tests and left here at 6:15. I am saying prayers about that. Rob was able to get his contacts in this morning and was very relieved and excited. He was reading signs all the way to school and was very upbeat, which was great to see.

I have to pre-register for my mammogram coming up this Friday, oh joy! Actually, I'll be glad to get it overwith. I am way overdue, had to wait 3 1/2 months to get it, and since my Mom's had breast cancer I need to stay on top of this better.

I'm still eating well, but am pretty tired. I did get in a lot of walking at the hospital the last two days. Rob has his guitar lesson this evening and is talking about needing to run by the mall this afternoon.

Don't know if anyone saw the brouhaha about Jennifer Carroll on O'Reilly and possibly in their newspaper, because she made a pretty harmless and slightly tacky joke about Hilary Clinton at a Republican conference. I'd heard the joke a couple of years ago, so it was nothing new and Republicans love it. Anyway, I fired off a letter to O'Reilly last night and a more detailed version to our newspaper editor today. I worked in both of her campaigns, and she's one of the finest people I've ever known.

Good Morning

It's nice that it Weally is Wednesday and Tuesday is missing from the work calendar! Not such a warm Wednesday here though. Think the beautiful weather we have been having is giving way to damp and rainy again-oh well!

Exercise was a combo this morning-did some weights, abs, leg lifts and stretches. The old hip joint is a little stiff from yesterday's walk. Meals are planned out for the day and snacks and water bottles packed for work. Hope they had mercy on me and my desk while I was out yesterday!

Nothing else much on the agenda other than the same old same old. Hope you all have a Weally Wonderful and maybe Warm Wednesday!

Rhonda-Keeping good thoughts and prayers for Tim today!

Good morning, all!

Not warm and wonderful up here - we're headed into a rainy, sort-of-cool stretch of weather for a few days. Thursday is the warmest forecast - that just means a weally bad hair day. I'll be in a day-long seminar up the road from the office all day Thursday, at one of the hotels in Copley Place, so my immediate surroundings will be far brighter than usual. I might check out the register of businesses in the adjacent office building to see if any of the employers spark my interest.

Once again, no workout planned today. I'm feeling sluggish from so much sustained inactivity; my legs feel like they're weighted down. My stuffy-headedness seems to be clearing, but my chest is still quite congested. I started my morning by swigging Robitussin right from the bottle, which I brought with me. I ought to be a barrel of irritability and skittishness by the end of today! But it's helping.

Have a good one!

Donna

I'm hoping its going to be a weally wonderful Wednesday here. Dh gets home from Florida tonight (late). I've managed to survive five days and two little boys by myself! :)

Sunday I got up to a knock on the door at 9:00 am. Don't like those early morning surprises. It was the lady the manages the apartment block near to us, holding a black satchel that belongs to dh and a Puralator envelope with our address. Seems I had forgotten to lock the van and someone had rifled through it. But, I think they must have been interrupted or not to bright, because there was an ashtray full of change that they didn't even touch. Mostly one and two dollar coins. Fortunately, the only things missing were the ones the manageress had picked up. The only thing in the satchel was some computer cables and the envelope was empty to start with!

Apart from that excitement, we've had a pretty good time of it. The boys, Jen and I went out to dinner at the Old Spaghetti factory on Sunday night. I had two small salads (Adam didn't want his) and Seafood Cannelloni. I stepped on the scale and was up 2 lb., but I think there must have been a lot of sodium in the meal, because I was was running to the little girls room all day and I was down the 3lbs. the next day. I know yesterday was a high sodium day for me (according to Fitday) and I was back up the same 3 lbs. this morning, but already the potty journey has begun and I'm hoping they'll melt off by tomorrow too! I'm definitely feeling thinner and my clothes are fitting better. So far I'm down a total of 8 lbs on the days I'm not retaining fluid. This is Day 10 of Phase 1 for me and I'm finding it easy to eat right. I was snackish last night (not really hungry) and couldn't find anything that was loaded with sugar or white carbs, so I didn't have anything!!! Can't believe I just wasn't interested in that stuff!

Made a trip to the hardware store and picked up some black wraught iron planters boxes for the patio. They are lined with a mossy straw liner and look very cool. Now I just have to get them filled!

Well that's about all my news for now. I've got to get my behind in gear and package up some wool that I sold on eBay. The rest of the week is going to be very busy for me and I just realized that I'd better start planning Adam's birthday party that happens in two weeks! UGH! I really don't like doing kid's birthday parties and I must confess I'm not really looking forward to it! Bad mommy!

Have a weally wonderful day!

I weawwy wike your heading, Wowi! Your yoga class does sound so relaxing - wish I could join ya'!

DS' team won their baseball game 5-2 last night. Danny pitched 3 innings, struck quite a few out & only gave up 1 run. His elbow began to hurt (what's next???) so he told coach he was thru for the night. Good boy. At the growing age and as fast as they like to pitch, I think they should not pitch whole games anyway. He also had a couple of RBI's. I was happy to be able to see a good game - won't get to see many games at all.

Danny's doctor gave him a note to get out of running in Athletics 'till Monday & he only has a strained back muscle (what'd I tell ya'!).

As for me, I'm really tired so I took a rest day from workouts. I need to contact the fitness club by the end of this month to sign up for the summer. My eating was very good yesterday & so far so good today!

Have a weally wonderful Wednesday, everyone!
