I'm beat, partially because it's a little warm outside, partially because AF is full-force, and partially because this is the longest I've run since last November. On the "room for improvement" side, I walked at least 4 times - I'd like to get to running the whole route again - I resorted to walking to conquer the Big Hill, and my arms got tired even holding them properly. Need to get back into UB workouts to help that. On the "thumbs up" side, I did those 3.5 miles in 41.75 minutes for just under a 12-minute mile - that's *with* walking! - I made it 2/3s the way up Big Hill along with completely running a few smaller ones, no new strains from the run, and even that bum hip held up (it's slowly working itself out). I went from from "What the heck am I doing?" in the first mile to "I can still do this" by the end. 32 days 'til the race, I think I can get back on track. Obstacle to conquer is maintaining motivation for both running and regular working out, which will help in the run.
Drinking my water since I'm sweaty and light-headed, and collecting myself a bit for a few minutes, and then I'll finish up with abs. Whew! :^)

Most excellent Linda!
Got my weights done, eliptical trainer and as of 11:30 a.m....food is good
I met the cutest little lady today and really feel strongly that I met her for a reason.
Sounds like your meeting with that little lady was very special. Things like that tend to stay with me too. I know she appreciated your help and kindness.

Dad is going home today!! Mom emailed that she was going to get him. I'm very relieved about that, because I know he wants to be home and it will save a lot of driving for Mom. Tim had his bloodwork this morning and his appt. with the GI specialist today. He should get the bloodwork results by Tuesday. He said he's feeling a little better today, I'm happy to report.
I called my friend, Helen, and she's doing terrific! She may be able to get

Great job, Linda!! I would say you did very well even with walking inbetween. With your determination, you will be running the whole thing in no time.
I am so jealous! It is such beautiful weather and I can't get out there and even walk because my feet hurt so much yet. It from overcompensating and walking more on the outside of my foot than normal.
Went to PT today and did extra on stairclimber and recumbent bike for my workout even though my feet were hurting so much. The therapist used ice today instead of heat and tried to massage as much as possible to loosen my feet up. He did say I am doing more than most people so try not to be discouraged. I was concerned about not being able to do PT while I am away...but he said not to worry, we will pick up where we left off when I come back.
Almost done packing and crossing things off my to do list. Just wish I had the energy to do it all...this not sleeping is really catching up to me. Have to get a good rest tonight so I stay awake while driving.
Have a good evening.

Just love cute little old ladies. I used to get a kick out of talking to them when doing the Silver Sneakers. I bet it made you feel good to help her out.
It is a super day for you Phyllis...It is like God smiled on you!

Things are going well here until the post I wrote you disappeared. Glad Dad is doing well enough to come home. It will be easier as long as some help comes too. (Will there be some help?)
Good to hear Tim is feeling a little better. I suppose there is some relief with getting some of the test results back and things look ok there. Hope he keeps improving.
I would have changed the site of the mammography too. You get all psyched up for it and then postpone it? Ugh, ugh! Enjoy your planting later...you are doing so much in your garden. It must be a showplace!
Keep hangin in there
