I had to really think about what day it was before I could post!I came in from CL last night thinking it was Wednesday.I so need some time off that involves a beach, sunshine and cabana boys!!!!

So what's planned for today?Who is waking up to a beautiful day?If you are , how do you plan to enjoy it?Anyone have any special plans for today?Hey Shar, how are the birthday party plans coming along? And Sassy, why can I not stop thinking about fresh baked chocolate chip cookies???????Phyllis, missing you but guessing you're spending time with Johnny before he goes.

I think my workout will be a repeat from Monday; step and treadmill. Also my weights. The day will involve the ever present birds and maybe some yard work.I've gone 2 wks with no chocolate.I'm doing it to see if it effects my migraines. So far no change.Frankly I'm

amazed I made it this long!!

So post up about workouts, food plans, life , whatever! And if anyone has a "whatever' that involves cabana boys let me hear!!!!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Good morning, Patty! It's another clear, cooler, low humidity day here. Too bad summer has to come. Today during Allison's Mom's Morning Out... I've got my annual with the OBGYN. Lovely, something always to look forward to. NOT! After MMO, I'm watching one of Allison's little friends for the afternoon. Sometime today I want to get the vacuuming done and laundry started. A domestic day in store. Tonight, choir.

Workout... I need to stop committing! Yesterday I thought I'd sprint around the block and do UB or LB with abs. I ended up running 3 miles, no walking, putting Big Hill at the end of my run and making it up about halfway. (It worked better at the end rather than the beginning of my run - and no stress pains from running.) Never did any abs since I ended up reading to Li'l Al afterwards. I'll get some kind of workout in today, I'm just not going to plan what it is and just let it happen :^). Good news - I've lost a pound again. This is one of the 2-3 pounds I keep losing and regaining! At least I'm finally being consistent in exercise and eating since coming back from Montgomery, moreso than I've been all year.

I like your thoughts on "whatever". LOL!

Weary Wednesday for me -- Dad's blood pressure spiked dangerously high yesterday and one of his drs'. nurses said a stroke was imminent, so we rushed him to the ER last night. They decided to keep him, because his blood pressure wasn't coming down the way it should with one of the meds they gave him. I got to bed about 4:15 AM and the alarm went off at 5:45. I'm supposed to help at the Republican Party booth at a Senior Expo at the convention center today and tomorrow. I'd planned to go in at 9, but I've got to get more sleep. Heading back to bed and am planning to be down there by noon.

'Night...

Rhonda,

So sorry to hear about your dad. I'll be keeping him and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can get some rest.

Good morning. Nothing exciting here and no cabana boys lurking along my pathways, Patty!

Today, I am going to plan month of May workout-wise. Will take a stab at that boot camp in May issue of Shape magazine. It has a calendar, pullouts, tips, and full description of each move - all that's missing is someone to do the workouts for me!

Tomorrow night I'm off and plan to walk outdoors at the track by the ballpark before Danny's game (if it doesn't get rained out).

Have a nice day everyone.

So sorry to hear that about your dad, Rhonda. I hope they can get his blood pressure down soon. Will be thinking and praying for him today.

I hope you get some sleep, too!

Good Morning,

The sun is trying it's best here and there's not a cabana boy in sight. Darn!

Workout was a WATP video. I'll be off to work soon and need to unclench my teeth before going in. I said my piece to one of the bosses yesterday so the ball is in their court now. I have to call the dr's office again this morning. After I hung up with their office last night I realized they hadn't given me an answer on my prescription whether to refill the current one or whether they're changing it. Other than that, I need to head to the kitchen and get some chicken cut up (love that chicken Patty!) and in the crockpot for Chicken Shrimp Jambalya for tonight's dinner.

Hope you all enjoy a wonderful Wednesday for whatever comes your way! And if you happen to encounter any cabana boys tell them to stop on by!

Susan
