So how was everyone's day? Did you get to acmomplish what you set out to do, today?

I did! I mopped the floor, scrubbed the floor, and I think I rinsed the floor 3 times. Did I mention I washed my kitchen floor today...............he promised me a new floor when we bought this place last December. I did wipe down the bathrooms, made the beds, and did I think 5 batches of laundry. I lost count. I also went downstairs and brought up the spring/summer clothes. Need to pull out some short sleeve shirts. I went to the track with my mom (who by the way deserves the angel award)and we did 2 miles in 33 minutes. I had a WW smoothie made with skim milk for breakfast and lunch was a huge salad with 2 oz of turkey breast with a fat free balsamic dressing. I spoke to doppy husband and reminded him of my plans tonight, I think he caught wind of my slight anger and told me he would take the kids to McDonalds for dinner. So no need for me to cook tonight. Yippie! I think for a late afternoon snack a cup of tea with a WW 2 pt bar should do the trick. Well that is it for me, how about the rest of you great ladies!

Deb, you've had an awesome day. Good going. I'm still sitting at my desk listening to the printer hum. No workout yet. I did have steel-cut oats with sliced almonds, craisins, cinammon, 1% milk and a splash of ff half-and-half for breakfast with a stick of lf mozzarella for protein (ran out of Canadian bacon), and an excellent, lightly dressed Caesar salad with grilled shrimp (it was a good deal, believe me, or else I wouldn't have had it) and decaf herbal tea for lunch.

Dinner? There's a great big piece of grilled salmon in the fridge that's enough for DH and me if I eat a reasonably-sized portion, accompanied by lots of broccoli and roasted sweet potatoes. At least that's my intention.....

Keep up the good work, lady!

Hey add 30 minutes of weeding out in the front garden bed and another batch of laundry to my day. Decided to eat an apple for a snack, will hope a shower in about a half hour and then fix myself an early dinner. Cannot go next door with an empty tummy. That would be the kiss of death for me!

Got a run in this morning, either 2.9 or 3.0 miles - didn't make it up the hill even half-way this time... but on the other hand I ran my route in 31'21". Depending on the exact mileage either 10.3 min/mi or 10.7 min/mi. I'm pretty excited about that. Still want to do UB and abs tonight.

Allison went to a friend's house, and the mom took them to a farm south of town where they all picked strawberries. And my oh my, they are WUNNERFUL strawberries. About 4 quarts, so I'll be freezing some in syrup, some without.

Finally got a b'day gift for a little boy who's turning 3 and who's birthday party is this weekend. Thomas the Tank Engine party, and my word, the Thomas stuff has increased in price since we last got items for Allison (she has Brio - non-Thomas). I found a flat magnetic board playset with Thomas characters that'll be great for the traveling they do. Allison has a magnetic farm and magnetic bear picnic and really likes them for long trips.

Haven't yet finished laundry, didn't do the kitchen floors. Tomorrow the A/C guys are coming. Grumble on that, but it needs to be done.

Scary news today...the woman from Baptist Medical Center and I played phone tag a while, but I got her while I was working at the Expo. Turns out BOTH of my mammograms have dark places. She said it isn't necessarily bad, it could be dense tissue or something, but they want me to come directly to the Pavillion for further pictures, and I'll get the results before I leave. I have to tell you it makes me a bit nervous especially since Mom had breast cancer a few summers ago. I have an appt. Tues. at 2:30 -- same day Tim gets test results and as the Earth, Wind and Fire concert. Sure hope I still feel like partying that night. Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers about this.

Dad went home today. I was somewhat surprised, since his blood pressure had still been pretty high. Mom had to run out and get 3 more prescriptions. She left her jacket at the hospital, so I ran by and got that for her. Just want to express again my appreciation for all your prayers and good thoughts for him. I'm sure they helped.

The expo was a great success again today. It was very gratifying to hear people's comments and how glad they were to see we were there. Most of them were extremely pro-Bush and downright scared about a Kerry presidency (shudder!). I was pleased to hear that most people are well aware of the media bias and give very little credibility to much of what they hear and a lot of what they read in the papers. Dan Rather has to be the most blatantly biased with the least credibility. He really should be a commentator like Bill O'Reilly instead of a "news anchor."

My sister here went to the Prince concert night-before-last and said it was excellent. I've never been a big Prince fan, but the concert was a sellout at 14,300. Since the new arena was completed recently we're starting to get lots of good concerts again like we used to.

I got THREE magazines in the mail today -- Health, Fitness, and Self. Kind of overwhelming. I don't believe I've ever had that happen before. I think I'll let Fitness and Self expire and start subscribing to First instead. I'll probably let Shape expire too. I'm getting too many to keep up with, and I never seem to have time to finish books I started ages ago. There are more new ones out I'd like to get to, also.

Glad to hear you're having such a productive day, Deb.

I've had a pretty good day here.Heading back down to see the chickens soon but have gotten lots accomplished there today.I got in a run and later a walk with my sister during her lunch hour.I did my weights. And I mowed most of the yard.I do ,however, really need to work on my food and my water.Especially the food part after reading the ab post.

It's been a really beautiful day here. I had my sonogram done. The tech wasn't giving up any information so I'll just have to wait and see about the results. I'll probably call tomorrow afternoon and see if they have any results. I'm certainly not waiting for them to call me. After being out the office I really didn't want to go back in. Sunshine, again presented a few problems in the work environment so I'm stepping in to see the head honcho tomorrow and have him give an office protocol on the situation so that Sunshine can step on down from her invisible throne! I've had a bit of a sweet tooth issue going on. Not sure what's triggered it-can't put the blame on Flo anymore. So, I'm working on me controlling it instead of it controlling me. I had a nice walk with Otto this evening. I was hoping he would chose the longer route this evening since it's so nice out but his mind was in a different direction. Super tired this evening and was glad I had a really simple dinner planned and will spend the rest of the evening planning next weeks meals and vegetating on the couch.

Hope you have a great evening.

If you'll recall...I had the same thing. Turned out to just be a denser area that once REALLY compressed (as if they don't REALLY compress you the first time!) was fine.

Will keep you in my prayers and thoughts!

Hugs.

Sassy

Rhonda, sending you positive vibes and lots of thoughts and prayers. Just wanted you to know you will be thought of. Please take care of yourself and when you know something please let us know. I am happy to hear your dad went home. I would guess the doctors know what they are doing and felt it was safe for him to go.
