Mucho Monday Updates....

How's everyone doing?

I got in a (brief) walk on the dreadmill. Hate that thing. Did abs and chest. Sore already. Love that.

Is it just me, or is it INSANE that we clean for the Cleaning Ladies???? They were supposed to be here at 11:00 (and still aren't), and I was running around trying to clean up and sweep up...

Finally getting a minute to sit down and enjoy my Special K with fresh sliced strawberries. Yum.

So, yesterday my DD says, "mom...how much weight have you lost...you're jeans are sagging in the butt". My first thought was it was actually my butt sagging in my jeans, but she was right. This morning I stepped on the scale...8 pounds down. How in the heck did that happen? And my tight jeans are now my comfy jeans. Surely it is a sign that something bad is about to happen! Decided to just accept it as the gift (or miracle) it is and go with it.

I'm behind in my water intake already...need to grab and a bottle and catch up.

Later, ladies! Have a great day!

Hey, well congratulations!!! 8 lbs. is alot to lose on someone with not much to lose!!! You go, baby!!!

I'd say it's a mixture of your great workouts, your good eating sense and perhaps a little loss of appetite (maybe our chill pills?? Mine sure made me lose my appetite).

Now you've got me wanting to call out a cleaning service to clean my home in it's 'au naturel state! There is a pile of baseball clay in my entry way, dirty clothes in 2 different hampers, everything is dusty & I need to clean floors. I have lots of clutter right now, too. Afterwards, my name would be dirt. However, I bet they've seen worse! I'm sure your cleaning service loves you for having your home "cleaning lady friendly".

How did you lose 8 pounds without noticing?

My new Ralph Lauren khakis are sagging today (in the waist, pelvis and rear areas, but not in the legs where I want them to be looser - oh well, we can't spot reduce, I know . . .).

As of yesterday, I've lost a total of 9 lbs. since my trip to my new OB/GYN, but I need to lose a little more to get back down to near where I was last summer. It will take a lot longer for the last lbs. to disappear so I better be patient!

I just called in a to-go order at Chili's for their Caribbean Grilled Chicken Salad, so I know the rest of my day will be great with food. Dinner will be stir fry veggies and chicken (yes, I eat chicken most of the time!). McDonald's sure is slow getting their "active" meals out & I found out it has a "Fiesta Salad" in it - sounds like a taco salad to me!!

Exciting - not! That pedometer better work well!!!

My workout was very difficult, but I made myself do all of it. I'm feeling quite sore already.

Another Loser!!! Way to go Kat! Great job on the 9lbs. I'm stuck on a plateau myself. I'm hoping that adding in some good cardio will shake the scale up!

Congratulations!

Awesome on the 9 pounds. My legs are soooo stubborn. I was always called Thunder Thighs...and that was when I had not an ounce of fat on me. DD has the same build. Strong legs ;)

Caribbean grilled chicken...what's in it?

Russell and the kids get so tired of chicken. We eat a lot of it. I love it, however, and could eat it every day.

Great job on the workout...made my little workout look sad :( But, since I haven't worked out in 3 weeks...thought I'd take it a bit easy. Tomorrow I'll crank it up a bit. By the end of the week I'll be rockin!

Shar, you've done such a great job! A plateau is always expected, although unwanted. You'll careen your way thru it, I know!

Hi All,

I've started to post several times today but ended up deleting my posts because they sound so negative.

Hi Margie-Girl.

I'm so glad you posted. I was thinking about you this morning.

Sorry you are in a funk. Been there...trying to pull myself out of it on a regular basis! My solution to these things is to have a little comfort food and comfort time and then just plain make myself take that first step. Once I do the first step, I can usually get back in gear.

Sending you tons of hugs.
